Positive: We were taken care of so well, it’s hard to put into words. The room was spotlessly clean, the Maldivian breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the beach was just a few minutes’ walk away. One evening, we were even invited to a BBQ dinner hosted by the owner, which made our stay even more special. If you’re planning to stay on Thoddoo, we highly recommend Belena – it’s the perfect place!

Positive: We had an amazing stay at this brand-new property. The attention to detail was outstanding, and everything felt fresh and modern. The bathrooms were spotless and brand new, and the mattress was incredibly comfortable. What truly stood out to us was the exceptional service. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience feel even more special. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, and their warmth really added to our stay. The location is perfect—centrally located on the island. It was within walking distance to the tourist beach, but they also provided new bikes free of charge, making it even more convenient to get around.

Negative: Highly recommend this place. They took care of everything , booking the speedboat etc.

Positive: It's a new hotel surrounded by lovely greenery and close to the sunset beach. Rooms are cozy and very comfortable. Staff is very friendly and hospitable;they went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable(they even got me some medicine from sea sickness for our boat trip). I would like to thank Belena staff for our memorable and exciting little vacation. ❤️🎉

Positive: We were in a situation where we didn't have transportation to Ukulhas for some reason and had to stay for a few more days on Thoddoo (which we were glad about because we really liked the island). We found accommodation at short notice at Belena, which seems to be a new hotel and probably didn't have many reservations at this time. The hotel is new, it seemed to me that we were the first to stay in that room (there was a smell of new construction in the room, there was dust on the toilet - a sign that it was unused). The continental breakfast is not very diverse: eggs in different forms (boiled, omelette), sausages, bread with butter and pancakes with different types of jam (the juices offered at breakfast were not freshly made from fruit - it was clearly store-bought juice). They provide snorkeling masks and bicycles to ride around the island (free of charge). They can help you with transportation to Male ($35 per person).

Negative: Probably because it is a new hotel, the staff still doesn't seem very well organized. If at other accommodations our room was cleaned daily, our bath towels were changed, clean cups/glasses were brought to us - this was not the case here. We requested that our room be cleaned on one of the days, but the bathroom towels were not changed. I think these aspects can be improved - more attention to detail from the staff.
