Positive: It looked beautiful from the outside and could potentially be anazing , it was fairly spacious ,
Negative: We arrived to find it had not been cleaned from the previous people staying there.. beds were used and unmade dirty towels on floor .. we contacted the number on booking and cleaners came within half an hour , however we had to wait in our car for 1 hour while they cleaned .. the cleaning was definitely no where near the standard you would want ! The toilets still have previous persons urine stains around floor seal and under the toilet I don’t think has ever been cleaned 😔.. I don’t think any bed or drawers have ever been cleaned around or under .. we tried to report to owner and was given number by cleaners who expressed a discontentment with their employers , they owner completely ignored our calls and messages , terrible communication .. the cleaners came out as a whole family one in pjs in a Saturday night as they were told booking had been cancelled so was going to clean on the Sunday ! I booked this place going on reviews so was astonished at how un clean and in prepared it was .. have no idea how people could rate cleanliness so highly 🤔 the fact that the owners who had made the mistake in the first place didn’t get back to us not even to apologise is beyond me , customer care was non existent

Positive: The Stables has been renovated to a high standard with good quality furniture and furnishings. The bed was very comfortable. The underfloor heating was lovely especially as we chose a chilly week to stay Overall good value for money and we would return The location was good as we felt tucked away ( countryside ) but we weren't far from all the towns and beaches.
Negative: There is only one 2 seater sofa so if you want to sit anywhere else, it's a dining chair which isn't great if you want to put your feet up and especially if there are more than two of you . Overall the Stables was very clean but there were a few issues around cleanliness that needs to be addressed that has been feedback to the caretaker.

Positive: A new and modern property with everything we needed for a short stay. Lovely rooms and bathrooms and outside space great to chill out in the hot weather!
Negative: TV signal poor - we had to watch everything on iplayer. Some aspects of cleaning could have been better - quite dusty in places and we had to wash cutlery and plates & glasses before use.
Summary: Perfect little short stay and dog friendly!
