Positive: Access through back gate. You need to tall to be able to open the gate. Catch difficult to open. Directions of how to get to house would be useful, numbering on estate a little odd. Parking is around back of house, which took some locating.
Negative: No access to mirror in bedroom for drying hair. No blinds for privacy in kitchen No shower over bath for 2nd bedroom. Bed standard double, not good for tall adults (6ft 7in)

Positive: The location is very quiet, although a little odd being on a housing estate. The house has all the facilities that you might need, a nice BIG TV, and a well equipped kitchen. We were also lucky with the weather so spent some time in the garden. Picking up the key was easy, although the information provided should say the parking is at the rear of the property. Tea, coffee and milk were supplied for a day or so which was great. It was very very clean.
Negative: Beds were a bit hard, sofas were a bit soft (especially the orange one), location is a bit odd for a holiday let but we got used to it. A bit more info on where the local supermarkets are (addresses or postcodes).

Positive: Location was excellent for all we needed.Ideal for Kynren a visit to Durham and not far from Beamish. Lock box was easy. Numbered bay for parking. The house was clean tidy and well presented. We will definitely be booking again.
Negative: If I had to find a negative it would be the beds were a bit low. This would not stop us booking this property again though.
Summary: A nice hassle free stay . The tea and coffee with biscuits was a nice touch.

Positive: It was very fresh looking. Tv was smart tv so could get lots of different channels and even sign onto bbci player. Kitchen was well equipped and nice and bright. It was all very clean. Easy to get to places from as we had a car.
Negative: Could do with some clothes hangers for towels in en suite

Positive: A spotlessly clean and pleasantly furnished property. The house had pretty much everything we needed apart from food and clothes. It was a pleasant place to stay and located on a quiet estate.
Negative: A rather characterless new build house although to be fair we booked based on location alone as we needed accommodation in the town to visit relatives.

Positive: Well appointed house in good quiet area. Close to great attractions such as Locomotion in nearby Shildon and the beautiful city of Durham.
Negative: Information could have been clearer about the location of the key safe, instructions for the heating and the location of the designated parking spot. There were a couple of loose locks. Our son got locked in the upstairs loo and the front door wouldn't lock. We fixed both problems ourselves.
