Summary: De allerhartelijkste ontvangst door de fam Machetti deed ons een groot plezier. Na het rondleiden door het appartement en het aanbieden van een fles wijn en olijfolie kregen wij een uitleg over de toeristische mogelijkheden in de omgeving zoals Siena, Volterra, Monteroni en Massa Maratima. Het Appartement heeft alles wat een vakantie leuk maakt. Ook een bezichtiging van de wijnmakerij door Graziano werd met veel enthousiastme gegeven. De dag erop werd bij het terugbrengen van de papieren een bak abrikozen en jam afgegeven. Ons verblijf werd door alle informatie een week die we niet snel zullen vergeten.

Summary: We hebben een fantastische vakantie gehad. We werden hartelijk ontvangen met een flesje eigen wijn en olijfolie. De accommodatie is ruim en sfeervol en de tuin en omgeving is prachtig. De eigenaren zijn heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Meneer is een bescheiden maar trotse man, ongelofelijk creatief en veelzijdig. Hij heeft ons veel verteld, zijn enthousiasme en trots waarmee hij verteld over zijn bedrijf, de geschiedenis en omgeving is prachtig. Ook de eigen baksels, tomaten en eieren van mevrouw werden zeer gewaardeerd! Erg leuk. Het is erg prettig dat er een goede bakker en een supermarktje op een steenworp afstand zijn. Het restaurant van de 'buren' is ook goed. De omgeving leent zich goed voor allerlei soorten uitstapjes. Siena is schitterend heel dichtbij. Daarom zijn we daar wel drie of vier keer heen geweest. Verder zijn de stadjes erg mooi San Gimignano, wijndorp Montalcino (heerlijke antipasti bij Il Grifo Ristorante Pizzeria), Pienza, Montepulciano, etc etc. De natuurlijke bronnen bij Bagni San Filippo moet je geweest zijn (ga wel vroeg). De Crete is schitterend, zeker bij zonsopkomst en -ondergang. Het riviertje 'Merse' bij Brenna (43.203163, 11.230133) is fijn om te ontspannen. Leuk voor wijnliefhebbers Chianti Classico wijnfestival in Greve in Chianti (september). Verder ademt de omgeving geschiedenis, kunst en cultuur. Kortom, een heerlijke vakantie!

Summary: Ontvangst prima! Hartelijk. Verwelkomd met een fles wijn en een fles olijfolie! Heerlijk. Prima accomodatie. Gezellig, netjes en schoon. Mooie omgeving. Leuk dorpje met kleine winkel en bakker. Tevens prima restaurant.

Summary: Agriturismo La Roverella is een idyllische vakantie plek voor mensen die van rust en basic houden. De eigenaren zijn uiterst behulpzaam, aardig en respecteren in hoge mate de privacy van hun gasten. De eigenaresse bracht regelmatig een mandje met groenten en fruit uit eigen tuin. De omgeving is adembenemend mooi, prachtige vergezichten en een wonderlijk mooi natuur. Goede uitvalsbasis voor het maken van uitstapjes. Op 1 minuut loopafstand een lokaal Italiaans restaurant, met heerlijke pure smaken. Er is een kleine lokale supermarkt in het dorp en op 15 minuten rijden door de prachtige omgeving is een grote supermarkt te vinden in Monteroni d'Arbia.

Summary: De aankomst was fijn we werden verwelkomt door Grazia Machettimet een fles wijn en een flesje olijfolie,het appartement was echt toscaans met een sfeervolle inrichting het enige nadeel was de drukke weg die er langs liep,maar 's nacht hoorde je daar weinig van.

Summary: We werden hartelijk ontvangen. De accommodatie was goed, maar een zitje direct aan de woning ontbrak. Daardoor minder privacy met het zitje buiten de woning. De omgeving is prachtig. Een nadeel is wel dat de accommodatie direct aan de weg ligt, waardoor je veel last hebt van de veels te hard rijdende auto's.
