Amazing Homestead
Welcome. Our house is used midweek by volunteers for tutoring children who find school challenging. WholeBrain Bendigo is a learning program. Our volunteers help students develop positive learning strategies. To help our program continue we offer the house as accommodation. Due to the nature of our house/program we’ll only be accepting guests with reviews. Over Christmas, New Year, Easter we’ll only accept 5 night bookings, long weekends 3 night bookings. Thank you for your understanding.

Summary: Denise has been very helpful and reachable from day one. The property had everything you can thi know and enough rooms to create zones with kids, teens and adults. The cleanliness was top notch and close to town. Kids also fed the chooks… only 1 suggestion to add additional toilet if possible for managing large groups. Thanks

Summary: The stay at Mandurang South was thoroughly enjoyable. Beautifully presented property in a peaceful bush setting. The kids loved the open space where they enjoyed cricket, football, trampolines and feeding the animals each morning. Mandurang Sth is positioned a short drive from Bendigo center where we enjoyed cycling from Rosalind Park to the Bendigo Pottery, Central Deborah Goldmine and the Golden Dragon Museum. We also found the location fantastic for exploring other regional attractions such as Mt Alexander, Spring Gully Reservoir and the beautiful Rocky Crossing. Thanks to Denise and all at the Wholebrain program for hosting!!

Summary: We had a very enjoyable and relaxing break at this property, Lots of room to spread out and close enough to Bendigo to enjoy the sights or just spend time relaxing on site. All the basics were provided beds were comfy and the kitchen was well appointed. Thanks Denise.

Summary: Denise was fantastic to work with and a lovely host. The house accommodated our group of 8 women and it was very comfortable and spacious. The beds were perfect, good heating for those cold nights and we had everything we needed. A beautiful touch of bread, milk and Tim Tams were left for us and a great retreat for us artists. Thank you for such a beautiful stay.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay in this very beautiful spacious home set amounts some beautiful pastoral land. Denise was very helpful ensuring we were well settled in for our stay. We had 4 generations stay with all finding it a peaceful environment. The grazing Kangaroos were a favourite. I would highly recommend this property and the hosts.

Summary: Ideal for our large family group, with everything we needed for a week away. Wonderful setting - we loved the regular visits from the local wildlife. Even though it was hot while we were there, the great air-conditioning meant we were still super comfortable and sound choice multiple ways to relax across the different living spaces. A great stay!

Summary: Me and my friends booked this property for a retreat. All the facilities we needed were there. The property is spacious and the grounds are beautiful. I am already planning to book it again. The owners were very helpful and I will recommend it greatly.

Summary: We loved our time at Mandurang South Retreat. So spacious, it easily catered for our family group of three generations with room to spare. The kitchen had everything we could ever need. It was so peaceful in the country setting with the added excitement each morning of whether there would be kangaroos nearby.The bird life was amazing too.Some nights we sat out in the dark looking at the stars and listening to the night sounds, so different to ours. After leading crazy busy lives recently, Mandurang South was a haven. I wish we could have stayed longer.
