Positive: I recently had the pleasure of staying at Beres apartments which was an incredible place, and I can’t speak highly enough about the experience. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by how spotlessly clean and well-maintained everything was. The space was not only tidy, but also beautifully presented, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The comfort level was outstanding – the bed was cozy, the furnishings thoughtfully chosen, and all the amenities were in perfect condition. It truly felt like a home away from home. One of the standout features for me was how peaceful and serene the environment was. Whether it was enjoying a quiet morning or winding down after a long day, the tranquility made my stay all the more enjoyable. And the breakfast – absolutely delicious! Every morning felt like a treat. The food was fresh, beautifully prepared, and clearly made with care. It was the perfect way to start each day and added an extra touch of hospitality that made the stay feel so special. It’s rare to find a place that combines such high standards of cleanliness, comfort, calm, and culinary delight all in one, but this one absolutely delivered. I left feeling refreshed and completely satisfied. Highly recommended – I would return in a heartbeat!

Positive: Fantastic apartment with all the amenities you could hope for and a wonderful view over Castara and the bay. The owners are super-friendly and helpful and went above and beyond to accommodate our questions. We had breakfast on the terrace and I would recommend to have the breakfast offered as it was very good and offered many different options. they are just getting pool finished and we cannot wait to come back and enjoy the pool, too. Absolutely recommend this place for a stay on the island of Tobago.

Positive: We liked the decor which was attractive and smart -looking, appliances (microwave and fridge freezer), shower which worked very well, furniture which was what we needed including comfortable bed, and delicious breakfast (additional charge). They were all very good. The hosts were friendly and were happy to bring us what we requested (eg bottles of water).
Negative: The worst feature of the apartment was the toilet. There wasn't a full wall between it and the bedroom, and no door between the washroom area and the sleeping area. This took some getting used to even for us who have been married for over 30 years. I feel this aspect of the apartment would put many people off. There was no cutlery or crockery (eg plates), except for mugs, glasses and wooden stirrers which for a self-catering apartment wasn't sufficient. (The hosts did however give us some disposable plates when we asked and we had brought some disposable cutlery with us). There was nowhere to put our suitcases except on the floor. We would have like to have some collapsible suitcase stands at our disposable, so that we didn't need to sit on the floor to remove items from our cases. The only raised surface in the bedroom was the bed itself which we did use at times when opening our cases. We hadn't expected the hill into Castara to be so steep. It was quite an effort for us to climb back up the steps at the end of the day. For some people this would have caused too much difficulty. Perhaps you need to warn visitors that the property isn't suitable for people with mobility issues and recommend hiring a car to those for whom the steepness would be a challenge.

Positive: The owners are awesome - couldn't have been nicer or more helpful! We had messages from them even before we'd arrived, and they were incredibly responsive during our visit. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the apartment worked very well for us with the fridge, microwave, and hot water pot. Everything was very clean and felt new. Lovely view from the balcony. Highly recommend, and we would happily stay here again on our next trip to Tobago!
Negative: This wasn't an issue for us, but visitors should know that the guest house is located high above town. It's a very quick walk down for the beach, restaurants, etc , but it's a bit of a climb to go back up!

We will definitely stay here again and we will recommend this location to anyone looking for a quiet comfortable place in Castara 10/10
