Positive: Amazing stocked kitchen (it was nice to have spices provided), comfy bed and living room, great water pressure in the shower! We loved that it was a private entrance and we truly were able to come and go as we needed. The family that owns the ADU is there full time, but they’re very nice and would check in to make sure we were comfortable whenever we saw them. Very well located! 15 min from downtown Denver and walking distance to an entire street of restaurants, bars, shops, and parks. Our dogs also really enjoyed the neighborhood and it felt safe taking them on long walks at night. The owners of the house also have a dog and all of them got along well, though it is good to note there’s a dog on the property in case your dog is not as tolerant of others. The whole neighborhood was decked out for Halloween!

Negative: We purposely picked this property for the patio, which is exactly as pictured but very much a shared space with the family. Family was kind and accommodating and made sure we knew we had full access, but it was uncomfortable for us to sit outside because the patio does face directly into their house. As in, if you’re sitting on the couch you do see their whole kitchen and living room because the house is all windows. It’s an us problem that we didn’t use it more, but if you’re looking for more privacy in your outside space this may not be the space for you.

Summary: Super well located! Good to come and go but not for the patio space.

Positive: Plenty of room over a 3 car garage. Comphy, large sofa, very comfortable bed and pillows, full kitchen with plenty of service ware, beautiful step in shower with stained glass window. Nice to have coffee available, a few water bottles, spices, paper products. Location was great! Easy to access roads, freeways for our daily day trips. Grocers, restaurants nearby. Safe neighborhood.

Negative: Parking was tight in the back for our upgraded, huge SUV rental.
