4 Bedroom House in Grand Junction

Enjoy lakefront living at its best on the best lake around!
Great Bear Lake is one of the nicest all sport lakes in Southwest Michigan. With and average depth of 30 feet and a clean sandy bottom.
Boat:
Pontoon Boat will be included with your stay (5 night minimum from June-September)
Guests will be responsible to fill gas tank upon departure.(Gas cans will be provided). .
*****We will no longer be allowing guests to bring Jet Ski’s or Speedboats or any watercraft. The lake isn’t really ideal for Jet Skis****. We understand if this doesn’t work for some people but we don’t want to be liable for one of our families or neighbors being involved in an accident due to guests that don’t follow the laws set by DNR.
NO CAMPERS or TENTS on property
Outside:
Covered Patio with table and chairs
Ground level to a shaded flat yard 40’ down to the water.
Private walkout Beach (shaded during day and sunny in the afternoon which is great for the little ones) with sandy bottom swim area.
Additional Patio on East side of the house with grill and sitting area.
Foam Swim Pad (Lily pad) to play on.
Dock with bench seat.
6-kayaks
2-paddle boards
We have plenty of Lifejackets Sizes: baby’s - xxl
Noodles to float on
If you want to fish, please bring your own fishing gear. Fishing is great! Catch Largemouth, Perch, Northern, Bluegill, and Crappie right off of the dock.
***Ages 16+ will need a fishing license. That can be obtained online through MI DNR.***
Fire pit = There will be enough firewood to last all week (If you need more, there will be an extra $50.00 charge)
Grill= Charcoal (you will need to provide your own charcoal)

Whiffle Balls/ bat
Beach Towels:
Please bring your own. We will have a couple "emergency" towels.
During the week, you will practically have the lake to yourselves. It’s really not that crowded on the weekend either.
Inside:
Central Heating and A/C throughout. Additional A/C units in the two upstairs bedrooms really keep it cool and great for sleeping with the white noise added.

Beds: You will have plenty places to sleep and relax. All of our beds are clean and have waterproof mattress covers on them. There are also covers on the pillows as well. Most of the beds have brand new memory foam mattresses. We have a couple regular pillow top mattresses as well. There are plenty of clean linens.

Summary: We celebrated my dad's 80th birthday and truly had the most amazing time. The house was spotless and decorated beautifully. It was stocked with everything we needed and more including an air mattress, extra blankets, fans, and a portable bluetooth speaker for the boat. We spent most of our time outside. Lots of corn hole and bocce ball tournaments and the fire pit was perfect and stocked with firewood. Great Bear Lake is a beautiful lake with unbelievable sunsets! You can jump right off the dock into clear, clean water. We also used the paddle boards and kayaks everyday. Fishing was awesome too! The pontoon boat was the cherry on top. We loved that the boat came with the house rental. We used it many times each day but especially enjoyed the sunset cruises. Chris, the owner, was fantastic. He was attentive with all our questions and checked on us to be sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be back to this house. I highly recommend it.

Summary: They thought of everything! Organized, clean house, with all the extras! Paddle boards, kayaks, pontoon, 2 fridges for your food and BBQ grill. Garage playroom with pool table was a hit with our teens. Excellent communication with owner. Seating for large family, indoors and out. Beautiful setting for a family getaway. Highly recommend!

Summary: The house was everything as described inside and outside. Very clean and organized, with plenty of kitchen dishes and supplies, indoor games for kids, and plenty of beach toys, kayaks, and outdoor games. The AC was perfect! The beach was great for our young grandkids, and the splash pad was enjoyed by all, as well as the boat. The lake temperature was perfect for our stay. The beds, dressers, closets were very nice, and the bedroom setup worked well for our family of 12. Plenty of room in the kitchen and family room for all! Chris addressed and resolved an issue immediately, which was great, and something you don't always get with rentals. We caught many fish, bass, bluegill, and croppies. We also picked cherries which was fun. Easy drive to local restaurants, South Haven, and the Warren Dunes. We would rent again!

Summary: It was a great time for all the family. The kids enjoyed playing on the beach and swimming. They enjoyed sitting on the dock and fishing as well. For the couple of rainy mornings it was nice to sit on the covered patio and look out on the lake. Very relaxing.

Summary: Had a great time! Found everything we needed & things were labeled which made it very easy. We are a tall family & the stairs going up take a little adjustment but easily done. Used the north porch a lot! The dining table was great! Loved that there was plastic & glass dishes for the kids! Spent the whole time in the yard & lake! We all had a great time! Thanks Chris!
