The location can't be beat with a grocery store, ATM machines/banks, pharmacy, fresh fruit store, restaurants, cafes and even fast food places like Burger King and McDonalds are within 2 blocks from the apartment. The subway station is as close as 2 blocks, like most bus stops that take you anywhere in the city. This is truly a one-of-a-kind loft designed for the most discerning tourist.

Summary: The ideal hosts are Claudio & his wife Alejandra! Upon arrival at the 2nd floor apt orientation, there was a cold 2l bottle of water, cookies & flowers. Everything needed for a stay was there, including 2 TV's, large refrigerator, cell phone(you buy minutes), landline, comfortable bed & a washer with a dryer function that we used after each cloth washing. We only used the elevator for luggage on the 1st/last day, as the stairs were good exercise for all the great Argentine food we consumed. A good cafe, Arenales Resto, is just 30 feet away at the corner for morning coffee/medialunas(pastry). It was a warm Spring, so the ac was used often and worked great. There's plenty of room for luggage/clothing storage and good modern lighting, plus a large window for daylight. We would eat out 1 day & the next day cook using the range, microwave & toaster oven with all the cookware available. Communication was always professional/prompt with our hosts. We will return!

Summary: We loved our stay in Recoleta in this lovely loft! While Claudio was out of town on vacation he was still very helpful and arranged someone to meet us at the loft even though out flight was delayed 7 hrs. The loft is in the BEST part of the city. It's very easy to walk to restaurants and museums. The loft itself is very cleverly organized and unique. It's the perfect amount of space for two people. Very comfortable and has everything you need. We can't wait to go back!

Summary: My boyfriend and I arrived on a Sunday afternoon. Claudio helped put us in touch with a car service and we were in front of the apartment in no time. The space met our needs and was very well priced. The location is perfect for taking public transportation and exploring different neighborhoods. We purchased groceries and made our own breakfast in the morning, all standard cooking utensils were available. The designs is neat and someone could be sitting in the loft while someone else hungout downstairs. Three notes; the windows in the space face out to an alley, so not much natural sunlight but we weren't spending much of the day indoors. There are free standing stairs without a handrail up to the loft. Not for people with disabilities or those prone to clumsiness. Last, there are multiple doors/keys for entering the building and apartment (great for security, not great if there was a need to evacuate). I would definitely return to this place. Make sure you bring USD if you can, you get a better rate than the banks...Also, there is an amazing ice cream shop just down the block on the opposite side of the street- go there. Thank you to Claudio, he was very responsive, professional and helpful.

Summary: I stayed here for a week in November. The location is great, close to the subway and buses. The neighborhood is safe and near all types of shopping and restaurants. I was also able to walk to some of the tourist sites. The loft is just as advertised. I was very comfortable there. Claudio went out of his way to help get me settled into the loft and made himself available by phone if there was a problem (there was none). I would stay there again and would recommend it to my friends.

Summary: We recently stayed in this loft apartment for one week at the tail end of our honeymoon which took us around Ecuador and Argentina. Our stay here was fabulous! The loft is exactly as pictured, cozy and very centrally located. We always felt very safe and could quickly get to all of our favorite areas in Buenos Aires. There is a subway station a few blocks over, and plenty of good restaurants and shops in the area. We didn't cook much, but being able to have a small kitchenette to heat things up and enjoy breakfast at the flat every morning were definite benefits, as was having a washing machine after three weeks of traveling. Claudio was EXTREMELY helpful (big thanks to you again, Claudio!) and friendly. He was able to give us tips on getting a lift from the airport as well as changing money, etc. I have travelled extensively, and can honestly say that (despite the fact I'm not much of a city person) Buenos Aires is one of the most beautiful and engaging citeis in the world--we absolutely fell in love with it. Staying in this loft, which was so incredibly affordable and efficient, was one of the better vacation decisions we made. There was only one drawback, and after much soul searching, I've decided not to blame Claudio for that...but, the absolute BEST ice scream store ever is at the end of the block--so be forewarned as one has to reckon with the scale sooner or later! We will be back for sure and we will hope to stay in this great little place again.

Summary: My husband and I stayed in this apartment in Recoleta for two weeks in March 2013. The description and photos were accurate; the apartment was in a great location, with cafes, shops, and grocery stores close by. It was so convenient to have the apartment for the entirety of our stay in Argentina -- we could take side trips out of Buenos Aires and not have to worry about leaving our belongings behind, and we made use of the washing machine in the apartment, which cut down on our luggage (note: there is no dryer function on the machine; if you wash something it must be air-dried). Everything was clean and well-maintained, with a maid coming once per week during our stay. I also must stress how friendly, helpful, and responsive the owner, Claudio, was! He helped us with everything from exchanging money to getting into the safe when I accidentally locked myself out of it (oops!) and responded very quickly whenever we reached out to him. Overall, we had a wonderful experience here, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this apartment to anyone else!

Summary: Our stay at this apartment was very pleasant. Everything you see at the pictures matches what you'll find in the apartment, and it will provided an excelent base to explore Buenos Aires since it's located in a very nice neighbourhood, with public transports (bus and subway) within 200m. We'll sure be staying at this apartment if we have the opportunity to go back to Buenos Aires.
