With serene water views over Hither Creek out to Nantucket Sound, this home rental is your perfect destination spring, summer, or fall! Away from at all, the boundless moonlit sky will amaze you at night.
Savor the famous Madaket sunset from an Adirondack chair on the back deck. At night, the calming sounds of waves crashing ashore will lull you to sleep. The kitchen opens into a cozy family room with a wood-burning fireplace, perfect for those cool Nantucket nights. There’s cable TV, DVD, and a stereo system for family enjoyment. The house has 2 spacious and sunny bedrooms featuring splendid water views. Attached to each bedroom is a private bath. There is a separate guest cottage with a Queen bed and private bathroom.
Additional amenities include wireless hi-speed internet, washer, dryer, parlor games, beach chairs. The backyard is equipped with four Adirondack chairs, a picnic table, and charcoal grill: perfect to enjoy a relaxed family dinner outside. A well-behaved pet is welcome, but no smoking, please, inside the house.
It's only a three minute walk to one of Nantucket's favorite restaruants, Madaket Millie's, offering ocean-view dining and serving some of the best food on the island. The take-out window is open late for Ice-cream and dinner, with outdoor dining. Right along side is the best little general store offering supplies, ice cream, wine and beer, ice and just about anything else you need to avoid a trip to the busy town.
Stop at the grocery store when you arrive, load up, and park your car in our driveway. Chances are you won't need to get in it until you leave!
Of all the locations on island, Madaket is known to have retained the old world feel perfect for a family that wants to relax, walk and ride bicycles to the country's best beaches and to simply be together.
Don't forget to take the beach cart, loaded with your picnic supplies and a bottle of wine, to the beach at the end of the day to watch the sunset into the water each night. The sky will be ablaze. You will see that other happy families arrive to do the same.

Summary: Our stay at Frankie Starlight was absolutely amazing. Francis was a great host, responded quickly to texts (no issues, just couldn't find the code he had originally sent!) the House was clean and cozy. Kitchen was easy to cook in and well stocked! Our kids loved using some of the toys. The yard and back porch were prefect for evenings with young kids. Wine on the porch while they played! We will definitely be back.

Summary: This property was perfect for our needs. The location on the island is amazing as it allows you to get away from town and the crowds, but the convenience of the shuttle when you want to use it. The property presented exactly as it was described and the owner provided a very comprehensive and helpful "user guide" that we found helpful. This property does not disappoint.

Summary: This is our third time in this home. The location is everything. Very close to the beach and beautiful views of the bay. And the owner, Frank, was very responsive and helpful with anything we needed. He went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. We will absolutely be staying here again.

Summary: What a beautiful, comfortable, relaxing home and a perfect spot. We spent a week, each day exploring parts of the island by kayak, bicycle, car, or walking to and on Madaket beach just a few minutes away, then relaxing at home in the evenings. The fully equipped kitchen made cooking at home a breeze but it was also just a 15 minute ride into town to reach all the great restaurants. The owner provided great recommendations on what to see/ do/ where to shop and eat. Can’t wait to return some day. LOVE this home!

Summary: Had a fantastic week here in this adorable home. The location cannot be beat- a short walk to Millie’s and Madaket beach (easy even for toddlers). We enjoyed the beautiful sunsets off the back porch and the peacefulness of the quiet neighborhood. We would love to stay here again in the future- our whole family absolutely fell in love with Madaket!

Summary: First I want to thank Francis for being so helping and inviting the whole week we were staying at his home. I had trouble working the door at first but Francis immediately helped us out. He also gave us many places to visit and check out while on the island. He made an amazing week even better. The home is situated on a very quiet end of the island. The beach was calm and allowed us to enjoy the beautiful weather with almost no one around. The drive from the airport and the main city is super easy so we would go to dinner downtown every day with exception of two days where we grilled out. The main home has a main common area and two bedrooms and bathrooms at either end, perfect for a family. The back deck overlooks the bay and is perfect for morning coffee or an evening drink. We will definitely come back and will certainly hope this home is available when we do. We highly recommend this to anyone traveling to the perfect island of Nantucket.
