DESCRIPTION
'The Beach House' is in a superb location on the Northumberland coast overlooking the sea at Beadnell on Harbour Road - boasting the most amazing sea views. If you are coming to the Northumberland Coast this is where you want to be.
This seafront property is in a great location with a shop 5 minutes walk away - and a great pub (The Craster) and restaurant (The Towers) 10 mins walk away. 'The Landing' by the 'Big Beach' 3 mins away!
We have 3 bedrooms (sleeps 6 - 2 doubles and 1 twin ) and playroom (extra tv area), laundry room, well-equipped kitchen. The spacious open plan kitchen and dining area and living room boasts a centre island and leads onto a wooden balcony, which is a great sun trap in the evenings. No pets or smoking I am afraid. There is a layout map on this site. It is a detached property with parking.
CHANGEOVERS: We let for full weeks during summer school holidays with Friday changeovers. We offer three-night weekend and four-night midweek short breaks the rest of the time with change-overs on Mondays and Fridays.
*10% couple discount only applies off-season ie Jan, Feb (not half term), Nov and Dec (not Christmas or new year).
On with the house...
The beautiful spacious open plan living room and kitchen are on the 1st floor together with a double bedroom and modern bathroom. There are two further bedrooms on the ground floor (1 x double and 1 x twin ), a games room with tv, you can bring your own games console to plug in. There is also a shower room with powerful shower, basin and wc, and a utility room with a back door.
The kitchen has a granite work surface and centre island. Woodburning stove in the open living room with fantastic views out to sea through a large picturesque window.
It is decorated to a high standard throughout with 2 bathrooms (one with bath and hand shower and the other with a double shower unit). The property is well cared for and kept to a high stand so you will be very comfortable during your stay.

There is a balcony off the kitchen - which is a real suntrap with outdoor dining table and seating.
There is access to the patio garden behind with a masonry barbecue and bike racks to attach your bikes to.
The Beach House has the most amazing views over the north sea - one of the best locations in Beadnell for the sea views and is consistently awarded top marks by all our guests.
We have signed up to BT Infinity Wi-Fi.
Note: We are a great location if you are attending a wedding at Newton Hall, Bamburght Castle or Ellingham Hall. Sorry, no hen or stag or young group parties, please.
Beadnell Bay hosts some great sights and views, including rare Arctic Terns during the summer months, water sport activities including surfing and kiteboarding are also available (one guest spotted a dolphin out the window). Bikes available for hire locally and will be delivered to your door. Places of interest such as Bamburgh Castle (5 miles), the Farne Islands (2 miles) and the historic market town of Alnwick (12 miles) are all easy accessible by car or bus.

Summary: 3 ladies in our 50’s enjoyed a bedroom each and two bathrooms. Big enough for yoga and dancing. Lots of kitchen space for a cook-along. Close enough to beach for early morning swims and beach runs. Picture window allowed for sunrise watching and wildlife spotting in pyjamas

Summary: Lucinda and Guy have created a perfect VRBO rental - everything is just right and my stay was wonderful, easy, relaxing and happy, due in many ways to Lucinda and Guy’s efforts. The check-in/info packet is as complete and helpful as any I’ve ever had, including for hotel/resort facilities. I really appreciated that the kitchen was well stocked and everything in good shape. (The welcome treats were also a very nice touch!) I also very (very) much appreciated that there were good quality newer hairdryers provided, as well as a very good quality new iron and ironing board and washing machine with clothes racks and outdoor clothesline. And 2 sizes of binoculars for guests use! As I said, above and beyone and simply, one of the best rentals I’ve ever had - thank you so much Lucinda and Guy!

Summary: Fantastically positioned, very comfortable and well equipped house with beautiful views of the sea, we saw dolphins on 3 separate days! Five minutes walk from the gorgeous beaches, and 15mins from very good restaurants the small village shop is 10mins for essentials. Couldn’t be bettered! We will be back
