Positive: The front desk was very helpful.
Negative: Breakfast included generally means a real breakfast, not Oatmeal or Cold cereal. The Hotel is worn out. The air conditioning would only operate at one temperature. Some of the towels were thread bare

Positive: Very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was okay, but we had to go down the street to get more food.
Negative: The ice machine was empty, the toilet ran all night and no one answered the front desk phone each time we called.

Negative: On arrival day I notified Curtis (at desk) the broken security latch. He said that he didn’t have anyone available to replace it but would have it fixed the following day. We were gone all of next day arriving back late afternoon. Still not fixed. He said that the maintenance guy was on emergency repair and offered to put us in another room. We declined and he was going to get the repair done the following day. Same story- not done. Spoke with the desk again and it will be addressed on final day. I received a call while we were out with news that the repair could not be done today either (last day). We checked out the following morning. That should not have been such a big problem. I could have replaced it myself in 10 minutes.

Positive: I requested an inside room (facing the pool patio area) in the front building away from the elevator. I not only received my request, I was given a suite (though I did not use the extra room), but the accommodation was thoughtful and appreciated.
Negative: It would be nice to have a few tea selections along with the coffee set up in the rooms. Black tea is cheap, Green Tea is much healthier and a "no caffein" option for the evening would be so very welcome. You would truly impress! The big chair in the room looked soiled from long term wear. Maybe something could be applied to brighten up the print. The desk chair was badly worn, as well.
Summary: Comfortable and reasonably priced stay while visiting area or traveling to/from Mexico.
