Summary: This hotel is perfectly located directly on the relatively small beach. My room was on the second floor and with a magnificent sea view. The rooms with sea view on the first floor (probably suites) had large terrasses. There are restaurants and bars right in front of the hotel, which were a bit loud in the evening, but luckily closed early. The only negative surprise was the lack of A/C. But fortunately it wasn't a hot day/night and there was a nice breeze from the sea.

Summary: Unfortunately the road and the beach were having work done. We sat on our balcony. It was like sitting on a building site with the noise of diggers & JCBs

Summary: We arrived to a very surly girl on reception who told us our room was not ready. We were early and did not expect it to be and were happy to have lunch in the restaurant which was good. The room was awful, the bed linen , bed and pillows uncomfortable. The whole place is grubby and the lovely beach is full of dog excrement !!! Disappointing .

Summary: I had long dreamed of the perfect French resort hotel on a quiet beach on the basis of the Jaques Tati film. The location is still lovely with a golden sand beach, a sunny southern aspect and the same rocks as in the film. The hotel has areas such as staircases and corridors that are tired but the rooms are fine (although small) and the breakfast area great. Also the bar outside is welcoming. Reception, notably Antoine, were very helpful.

Summary: Room 112 was too small not up to BW plus standard. The space around the bed was so small you couldn’t open the bathroom door and nowhere to put our small suitcase other than on the bed to open. Could no get the small provided safe to operate.

Summary: A lovely spot right on the beach. Great room with a terrace. Ate at the hotel restaurant, as there aren’t many alternatives locally for dinner. Food was great. Only small issue was we couldn’t use the breakfast dining room as we had a dog with us. It’s a buffet breakfast so completely understandable. Service was lovely. No complaints at all

Summary: We had a lovely stay at the Hotel de la Plage, we had seen it feature in the film Mr Hulot's Holiday and it was lovely to stay in this beautiful location. Reception staff were very welcoming and helpful and breakfast was good. We ate in the on-site restaurant in the evening but it seemed it was not part of the hotel. Only thing I would mention is the lack of toiletries provided, you will need to take your own, there is a soap dispenser next to the wash basin and shower but difficult to reach if in the bath and no separate shampoo etc. Tea, coffee and water were provided in the room. We had a lovely balcony so were able to sit out with tea and enjoy the view over the beach and the sea. There is on site parking. Lovely walks along the coast. Don't miss the statue of Mr Hulot outside!
