Positive: Location was good. Hotel was quiet. Breakfast was good.
Negative: A/C did not cool correctly. Spiders came out of drain in the bathtub. My husband got bit by a spider in the room and his hand swelled up. Refrigerator had huge chunk of ice in tiny freezer section. Plastic cup wrappers found behind nightstand in room. Hotel never offered anything free to make up for the short comings.

Positive: We stay there every year when we visit SC, exceptional customer service with the front desk service and also the breakfast serv Ingrid who is very nice and friendly.
Negative: A little noisy in the next room and another room nearby due to baseball league. In the next room from us, they kept throwing the ball on the wall.
Summary: Very accommodating and overall great place to stay while vacationing.

Positive: The breakfast was great!!! My husband is very picky but he really liked the eggs and sausages there. We spoke with Ingrid and she was very nice and attentive in the breakfast area. The location is also a plus.
Negative: There was a huge insect/cockroache crawling on the floor near the AC and then up the wall that I had to kill. Disgusting
Summary: Came to visit family and overall nice, quiet and pleasant stay.

Positive: Breakfast was ok. Everything is wrapped in plastic to preserve freshness. The meats were sausage links or sausage patties, and they were just ok, not very flavorful like most sausage is. Bacon would have been nice but was never an option all 3 days. Biscuit and Gravy was good. Scrambled eggs were cooked good, no issues there. Drink selection was fine. Pancake maker machine worked perfectly and was good. Maids tidied up the rooms nicely. Were polite. Provided extra towels. Overall clean establishment. Bath towels were good quality. Bed Sheets are soft and breath well. Toilet paper quality is fine. Shower water quality seemed fine. Shower head seemed good. Air conditioning worked, although a little on the high decibel of noisy, but great for white noise if you leave the fan on continuous run, otherwise it can wake you up at night when it kicks on. Location to highway, food, and entertainment is very convenient. Several great local food spots we found. Quick and easy to get on the highway. Minimal traffic issues. The front desk people were all friendly and helpful. They offer some basic needs items, drinks, pop, candy, general medicine, etc. Access to baggage carts was fine. Appears to be a single elevator but we did not have any congestion issues.
Negative: Just felt like a basic hotel, bit outdated feel to it with the color palettes and furniture choices. Although the bedding materials were good, like the sheets. The mattress was on the not uncomfortable but not comfortable area. If you have a bad back, are a little heavier, probably will struggle to stay comfortable. I did not get a great nights rest like I do at some other hotels with the hybrid beds that have memory foam tops with coil spring bottoms. The pillows are super soft, and not in a good way to my liking. Usually, you expect 2 pillows that are soft, 2 that are firmer. Nope. All basically worthless pillows. Side sleepers will struggle with provided pillows. The bathroom was a problem though. There is no ceiling exhaust fan in the bathroom. You take one shower and the whole room is covered in water droplets from moisture, literally as though you sprayed the place down with a hose. If you use the toilet, there is no fan to expel the smells. The supplied shower amenities, shampoo, etc. are tiny and limited, not good quality at all. They give you only enough for 1-2 people for a 1 night stay really and they just seemed like super cheap quality compared to a Holiday Inn Express, very noticeable quality difference on such a small item. Would have been nice after hating the bed if shower revitalized me with some better scented options infused with good morning vibes, like mint, caffeine, lavender, anything! These kind of smells like dog piss mixed with lemons, supposed to be citrus.
Summary: Overall pleasant experience staying at this hotel. With very minor changes could be a great choice.
