Cellar Cottage (No:1 on door) has a bedroom with QS bed and reverse cycle air conditioner. Lounge/ dining area has basic cooking facilities and open fire. We supply all linen and toiletries; provisions for continental breakfasts; wood for the fire in winter (or very cold weather). Lovely modern bathroom, in old style, with shower over bath.
Cellar Cottage is decorated in 'Barossa settler' style with old tools and interesting old furniture to give a feeling of yesteryear. It is very cosy and comfortable.
Brick Cottage (No:2 on door), is surrounded by vineyards; lovely views of Barossa Ranges; and is adjacent to Cellar Cottage ( each are fully self-contained).
Brick Cottage has a romantic, open-plan layout, with QS brass bed and reverse cycle air conditioner; lounge/ dining area and basic cooking facilities. It also has an open fire which can be watched from bed (as can the TV). We supply all linen and toiletries; provisions for continental breakfasts; wood for the fire in winter (or very cold weather). Lovely modern bathroom, in old style, with separate shower and bath.
Brick Cottage is decorated in romantic style with interesting old furniture to give a feeling of yesteryear. It is very cosy and comfortable.
Pets are welcome in both cottages with PRIOR notice.

Summary: The cellar cottage was the perfect location for a relaxing weekend away in the Barossa. Carol and Erich were very helpful in communicating details prior and were so thoughtful with every little detail. We appreciated the wood fire which was set up for the first night. The fact we could also bring our dog and that there was provisions for him was also lovely, there was doggie bags and balls outside for play.We will definitely be back.

Summary: We both love this little cottage. Great place to runaway to and unwind. You can go at your own pace. Short drive to shops, vineyards etc and amenities. Get up early and watch the sun rise over the hills. Fully recommend it.

Summary: Bethany was a perfect distance from the hustle and bustle of the tourist area. Outlook to the hills and the vines, it was the perfect place to escape. Very cute historic cottage.

Summary: The cottage is a cosy, quaint place to stay for a weekend away. We went away for 2 nights with our dog who was equally welcome. The cottage is a short drive into Taunda and Angaston in Bethany. The scenery and sounds of the birds in the morning was lovely. Carol and Erich have put thought into making the cottage inviting (a little welcome note on the door) and some breakfast treats. They were good at communicating before we arrived and were more then happy to offer any advice or tips of nice places to eat. We would visit again if we are staying out in the Barossa.

Summary: Quaint little cottage in a very quiet picturesque part of the barossa valley. far enough away from everything, but also close enough for convenience. would be stunning in winter, but it was still lovely in summer. would recommend. really surprised with the quality for the money.
