Glamp 15 min to Harpers Ferry! 200+ year old Bank Barn surrounded by endless skies. Queen size canopy bed in rustic, farmhouse decor with mini-fridge, microwave, and coffeemaker. Open those massive barn doors to watch the sunsets. Comfy lounge area and remote working space. You have wifi and a smart TV. Your spot is within minutes of hiking trails, wineries, and restaurants. Antietam Battlefield is around the corner too! NO heat, NO air! Be very prepared for the weather and especially the cold!
You are Glamping in a Barn!!! Surrounded by all the sights, sounds, and smells of a Barn, we have created a unique, romantic stay or family experience with hay carpeting, four poster, canopy bed, various lighting choices and lightly stocked kitchenette area. The kitchenette/lounge area is further complemented with a futon couch (sleeps 1 in comfort and two very closely :), bistro table, and dart board! Settle into your space with plenty of room to unpack into the chest of drawers and then watch a movie from your bed or dining table. Your smart tv is ready to continue watching your favorite series and if you need to work remote, the wifi is still at your service! Remember, there is NO heat and NO a/c. Please check the weather for the nights of your stay and prepare accordingly. Your queen size bed has a heated mattress pad (so does your futon). An Air Mattress is available or bring a few mats and sleeping bags! We also provide a fan during the warmer months. Still be especially prepared to sleep with warm pajamas and socks on those colder nights!
You have your very own fire pit and charcoal grill that overlooks our western pasture, fields, and our sister farm across the road. Please bring your own charcoal, but we supply firewood and a fire starting kit.
Your outdoor bathroom area is another unique experience! Through the main gate, to the left down the lane is your outdoor toilet and outdoor shower - with hot water!!! The hot water shower is spacious and quickly becoming more and more secluded as our new ornamental grass gets taller by the day. We even supply your basic shower needs and linens for your stay.
Note: The outdoor shower is open only when temps are well above freezing. In colder months, we provide bottled water, towels, liquid soap and a washing basin for simple personal hygiene needs when the shower can not be open due to freezing temps

Summary: This was my second barn stay and first for the kids. It was just as perfect as the first stay. Maybe even better if you add in kids excitement. We stayed in November and had an absolute blast. The Barn is exactly as advertised and I highly recommend. You won't regret it!

Summary: Exceeded expectations. Wonderfully unique and romantic. It’s a large spacious barn so the weather and temperature can be a factor; however, If the Rentie is aware of this fact, which is fully stated on the website, and prepares properly it is a wonderful romantic experience. We were very happy with the stay.

Summary: This place is exact to pictures and description. My friend and I rented to visit Harpers Ferry. We thought it would be a cool, unique stay. It definitely was! Check in was easy. I was even able to check in early. Once we unloaded car, we went to check out the property and animals. Its just as advertised. We had fun feeding the animals, but beware, goats eat everything! Beware of loose clothes . Def use open palm and stand a few feet back. The Porta pot amenities were very clean. A short walk from barn. The views are amazing, the property clean. Great welcome book to explain everything from turning on lights to fun things to do. Lastly, the host was so responsive to every text. Literally replied within seconds. Even when I was the doofus, lol. As to other reviews, yes, you can't access the entire barn. It's clearly marked and safe. Honestly, you don't need access to the other parts. And it's clear in description you don't have full access. The space you do have is plenty and it was an absolute pleasure of a stay. I recommend and already planning my return trip. At the Big Red Barn or one of the other sites on property.
