Summary: We had a very enjoyable week at Little Lodge. The property was so quiet and private, with wonderful nature to observe. Loved our morning coffee on the front deck listening to the bird songs. Had a great time exploring the area, and appreciated the hosts suggestions for historic spots, restaurants, etc. The cabin is quintessentially rustic and full of charm. Appreciated the well stocked kitchen and the laundry in the basement (but never did find the iron and ironing board.) The host was responsive and easy to communicate with. We did bring our rating down just a bit due to the cobwebs and dust/dirt inside the cabin, as well as the back porch. Also, the landscaping around the cabin seems to have gotten a bit out of control, which detracts from the cute structure that it is. Overall, very nice place!

Summary: The cabin is the perfect size for a family of 5. Great outdoor scenery. The sunset from the porch of the house on the top of the property was especially great. It was also close to multiple state parks. Plenty to do for a fun getaway.

Summary: Our family enjoyed another wonderful stay at the cabin. We hiked up the trail, played in the yard, built a fire, and enjoyed the simple but comfortable interior. It has everything we need and nothing we don’t - and the host makes everything easy. Thank you for another weekend my family will remember!
