Positive: The cottage was excellent- very clean, tidy, stylish. The host got the balance perfect - personal and helpful but also giving us privacy. Nice touches such as milk in fridge and chocolates on arrival. Lots of visitor guides made available to us if needed. The main bed was really comfortable. Lovely little courtyard to have morning coffee in. Well located - short walk to the beach, shops, restaurants and also for coastal walks and visit the northern coastline or Dungeness.

Positive: Beautiful cottage in a fantastic location. Easy walk to the beach and town centre. Vanessa met us and couldn’t have done more. She even left us a bottle of wine for my husband’s birthday and treats for our dog. I would 100% recommend, and we will be back! Thanks Vanessa x

Positive: Great location, very cosy, excellent host and the cottage has everything that you’d need.
Negative: The living room furniture isn’t the most comfortable but it wasn’t an issue, as we didn’t need it too much. The staircase is also steep, which wasn’t ideal for my heavily pregnant wife.

Positive: A gem of a cottage - very clean, comfortable and with everything you need; beautiful bed linen and towels too. Vanessa is a wonderful host - there was fresh milk in the fridge, chocolates in our room (and bedding and bowls for the dog) when we arrived. Deal is a lovely place to visit and with Bijou Cottage, you're central, yet on a quiet road - would highly recommend.
