Summary: We truly enjoyed Birch Haven! The house was well-stocked for sure!! We truly enjoyed morning coffee and conversation in front of the wood-burning fireplace each morning. We saw so many deer out on the lake, crossing the lake, and right up in the front yard right outside the big picture window. One day we watched deer cross the lake, and about 15 minutes later, two wolves were following in their footsteps. Pretty cool to see! But the real prize sighting was a bobcat, who slowly rambled right across the front yard directly beneath the big windows in the dining room. What a thrill! I don't think I've ever seen a bobcat in the wild, only in the zoo. We snowshoed to Morgan Falls, Mellen; and Rock Lake Trail & North End Trails near Cable. ALL were beautiful! Makala was easy to contact and prompt with any answers to our questions. Loved it here! We want to come back & stay with you next year too! Thank you!!! 😊💕 Linda B

Summary: We wanted to celebrate my husband's 65th Birthday away from it all. Everyone thought we were nuts going to a freezing cold tundra but we did. Had an amazing time sleeping in, playing games and of course a fire everyday and evening. We had a fantastic time, thank you for sharing this beautiful home to others. Jim & Cindy Sugar Grove, IL

Summary: This property is exactly as it is described and shown. The space was perfect for our group of two families. The kitchen was very well stocked and it was great having four bathrooms. We spent hours at the small beach right below the house. On rainy days the Roku TV was nice to have as well. I would highly recommend this property if you're looking for a beautful cabin on the lake.

Summary: Beautiful home with everything you will need. Quiet location. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. The kitchen has a beautiful island and is very well equipped. There is also a refrigerator for drinks. We loved our stay!
