The Bissell Cottage is only five blocks from shopping and dining on historic Queen Street (far enough away from the hustle and bustle of town), minutes away from spectacular lakefront views where Lake Ontario and the Niagara River meet, and we're only one block from the best walking/riding trails in NOTL. We have all the amenities to make your ladies weekends, family celebration, or getaways memorable. The Wine tour companies will pick you up, and drop you off, and everything else is within walking distance. Everyone says we're the best kept secret in NOTL.

Summary: This is a great property within walking distance to the main street, theatres and restaurants. Really comfortable for two couples. Roland was responsive and provided everything we needed including tea, coffee, bottled water etc. Great location and value, we would stay again!

Summary: Fantastic location, very clean, great host. There were 2 of us, but you could easily have 3-4 people. Great for cyclists, super close to vineyards. Highly recommend! Thank you Roland!

Summary: Place has everything you’ll need even for a longer stay. Hope to return next year. Very clean, good air conditioning, comfortable bed, nice shower. Friendly landlord lives nearby.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay! The location was so convenient for walking or biking into the main town! The whole area is beautiful! The house is small but very cozy and very well appointed! Communication with Roland was great! Look forward to staying here again!

Summary: I rented this property with my mom and sister for a girls weekend and could not be happier with the experience. The house was exactly what we needed and was clean and beautiful. You can tell the care that was put into maintaining this property. Roland, the owner, lives next door and was very kind and accommodating. The house was equipped with all the day to day items we needed including special touches for protein bars, coffee, creamer, and a fridge full of water. We will absolutely be coming back for future trips.

Summary: We had an amazing time in NOTL! Was a great spot to stay in town but gave us enough space to spread out but close enough to everything. Great neighborhood, close to all the action and walking distance to downtown. Roland was a great host. We didn’t stay long but house and grounds were welcoming and Roland was always in touch if we needed anything. Wish we could have staying longer! We would love to come back!
