What Our Guests say 500 + Reviews

Summary: We were a little nervous based on other reviews, but our stay was good! The room was clean, there was A/C, the bed was comfortable, and the location was convenient and safe. This hotel is pretty bare bones, but if you are looking for an affordable, no-frills place to stay, this does the trick.

Summary: room was mediocre, staff were not friendly or helpful. i had confirmed an early check-in time with staff prior to arriving, only to be told i could not check in early and would have to wait in the (very non descript and weird-feeling) basement until the checkin time. no microwaves or water sources in the room, with no ice machines on any floor. this hotel worked as a place to crash, but i’d never stay here again.

Summary: The hotel is in a good location for public transportation. The room said non-smoking but someone had definitely been smoking in the room. There are some good restaurants within walking distance.

Summary: God standard, easy living and close to subway. No extras, but worth the prize. The surroundings a bit ”shady” though.

Summary: Next to the J/M train. Beds were comfortable, only downside was the noise coming from outside and the hallways, but that’s NY for you.

Summary: Came here for a short stay. The experience was crazy. We had a smooth check in, the guy was nice. But once we got in our room we found we didn't have ice bucks, cups, lil things that should have been left/provided in the room. The housekeeping and doors in the facility are LOUD. I was aware everytime someone left they're room because the door always slammed. And housekeeping was laughing and talking so loud at all times. Also one of the front desk people had a bad attitude.

Summary: We stayed here for four nights and it was not the best experience. The rooms are pretty good size for a New York hotel but the amenities are lacking and the room felt shabby. There was an iron, but no ironing board and no hairdryer, space for hanging clothes, but no hangers, no cups and there could’ve been more pillows. At least one of the reception staff seems to be high constanly or just really aloof. I was only returned under half of my incidental with no explanation (we definitely did not do any damage, we barely spent time in the room besides sleeping). Cleaning staff were nice.

Summary: The hotel was better than I expected. The reviews that I saw made me nervous, but I didn’t have much of the same problems. The staff were cool. I would give the hotel a 7/10. The area wasn’t bad but if you’re used to being in the suburbs it’s probably not for you. There was a lot of beeping and police sirens that you could hear. There’s a lot of little places you could get food from around which was nice. Not too expensive either. The only thing about the hotel that I would complain about is the noise. You could hear everything that was going on inside and outside the building. The walls were so thin you could hear other peoples conversations. My friend said she could hear people having relations in the next room. We were also by the elevator and could hear people going in and out. Another thing I would complain about is the bathroom. The shower doesn’t close and is half open so water got all over the floor. Also the toilet is REALLY LOUD so beware for the night time. And the last thing I would complain about is the amenities. There was no microwave in the room so you couldn’t warm up leftovers or anything if you had some. Other than that I would say it was a decent hotel, especially for the price.
