Summary: Overall, the property was as advertised and is in optimal location if playing Black Diamond golf courses if your goal. It was our first time to Lecanto and we realized that overall dining options are limited. Within 20-40 minute drive you have several state parks and natural springs to visit.Three start rating is because we had several issues at the start of the trip including a broken refrigerator, hot tub being in dormant mode, a clogged bathroom drain and sliding doors not locking. After using app to raise concerns about these issues, the property owner was very responsive and worked with us to find solutions. The hot tub worked fine once in the proper mode, they had a mini fridge delivered the next day and the doors and drain were fixed. It was just unfortunate that we had to deal with those issues at the beginning of our stay. They did offer a reduction to the expected rate because of the inconvenience, which was appreciated.The inside of the property was clean but the floor of the screened lanai area could have been cleaner.
