Positive: The Black Dolphin is within easy walking distance to the historic town of New Smyrna Beach. There is quite a selection of restaurants, shops, galleries, historic sites and a cute museum. We looked forward to our wonderfully chef cooked breakfast every morning. Sitting at the bar, looking into the kitchen and chatting with the chef and manager was a fun way to start our day. They always had great recommendations for places to eat and things to do. Our room was cute, clean, cool and comfortable. It was always a treat to come back to after our big days. When we are in the area we will always stay here.

Positive: Excellent 14-room small inn in a renovated and thoughtfully expanded 1940s home—family owners who know their hospitality. Felt like Northern California at New Smyrna Beach. We walked to a restaurant in the evening, had good breakfast choices, The room was in keeping with a boutique hotel.
