Summary: This perfectly nestled in the hills cabin is everything a family could want while staying in South Dakota. The hosts were wonderful with prep and even had a binder full of information waiting. And cleanliness was on point! Kitchen is stocked very well and also kid friendly.

Summary: The house was beautiful and had plenty of room for my family. Everything we needed in the kitchen was there. It was in a good location- close to the places we wanted to visit, yet it felt like we were hiding a bit in the woods at the house. Our family wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Summary: The house was so beautiful and fit our family perfectly. The owners left a welcome note along with a book of things to do and their favorite places to eat and get drinks. The whole family loved the house and enjoyed staying there. It was centrally located for all of our activities.

Summary: This was our favorite VRBO we have stayed at! We had everything we could need and it was near lots of attractions. The fully stocked kitchen came in handy and the house was spotless! Our kids loved playing air hockey and foosball. There was a nice selection of games, books, and TVs. We had 6 people staying here but it could easily accomodate more! Lots of room to spread out and we loved the large dining table. We saw deer and chipmunks on property and we were wilthin walking distance to Black Hills National forest. Mount Rushmore is visible from the road near the property. We would love to stay here again if we find ourselves back in SD!

Summary: After a difficult winter, I booked this house as a place to reconnect with family and friends. It was perfect. The interior of the home had accessible bedrooms and bathrooms for two family members with mobility challenges. The three bedrooms, each with their own dedicated bath gave us all the privacy we needed while the gathering spaces had plenty of comfortable seating for all to enjoy conversation, beautiful views, and meals together. The outdoor space was amazing! We loved getting out into the beautiful pines, enjoying the scents of the black hills, looking at and climbing around the rocks, and just relaxing on the front porch. The location of the property was perfect. We enjoyed the restaurant in Rockerville, just 1.5 miles away. We were close enough to Rapid City and Hill City to easily travel to either, but far enough to have peace and quiet that was needed to rejuvenate the soul. I am hopeful I will have the opportunity stay in this home again in the future.

Summary: We count ourselves lucky to have found this new listing on VRBO. This was our first trip to the badlands area for our family and we found this house to be perfectly located for us. Short drives to all of the major attractions like Rushmore, Rapid City, Custer State Park, Needles Highway, etc. A beautiful piece of property and a very clean and updated house. Really neat walk up the hill and into the National forest land that surrounds the house. Enjoyed watching the deer and turkeys stroll by daily and really enjoyed the peace and quiet of the property. Super comfortable home with great beds, linens, and every possible accessory or item you would need in the kitchen to prepare large family meals. The owners have thought of every detail to make our stay comfortable and made our trip so easy and fun. There were only 3 of us on this trip but we will be back with a much larger contingent of our family for the next trip as this is a large and comfortable house with 3 king beds, plus two complete bunks plus another set of twins in the loft space. Summary: Our family headed to Rapid City for my son's wedding. So there were 7 of us, which can be a lot for booking hotel rooms. When we first arrived, we were greeted with a handwritten note from our hosts. Clear instructions about the house were leftand easy to refer back to. This house was amazingly comfortable for everyone. I mean everyone! (My husband usually cant sleep in different places and he slept wonderfully).Every amenity was thought of for every age. We did not have little kids, but if we did, they would have been taken care of as well. The house was kept very clean as well as organized. I thought it might be a little tricky to find it, but i plugged the address into google maps, and was led straight there. It is not a very long drive into Rapid City and all the "tourist favorites" are along the way. I hate to give this hoyse 5 stars, because it truly deserves 10 stars. We would love to come back to visit this property when we have more time to relax!
