Summary: Check-in was easy breezy and with a smile. People are friendly as usual. The building is undergoing some renovation during daytime hours only, and to make things nicer for us, so I will not critique anything negatively. Happy experience!

Summary: Black hotel was even cooler than I had expected, it had such a great vibe, the staff were super helpful and the rooms clean and comfortable.

Summary: Under renovations, carpet in room was stained and shower drained slow. The bed was very comfortable. Staff was outstanding, help with directions around the city as well get our bags to and from our room. Location was ok, an hour walk to the Cathedral but the subway is also just down the street. Great service!

Summary: This hotel was just a 20 minute walk from the workshop I was attending and the rooms very clean. It was my first time in Cologne and the staff were very friendly, even providing a hand-drawn map (in English) to my location. However, on the last night of my stay, my Ipad was stolen from the room. The staff was very helpful with notifying the police and switching me to another room, but this obviously left a very sour ending to my stay there. Despite this, I think this is a very nice, cozy hotel.
