Positive: Great service, at Black Panther Yala they really take care of you. The host arranged the safari for us and he booked it with an expert guide: we were 5th in line to get into the park and our guide was amazing! The room respects high cleaning standards and is very nice.

Positive: We have chosen this accommodation to go to Yala park for a safari and it was an amazing surprise. The host family took care about us in every aspect of our stay. The room was perfectly cleaned and they offered us an amazing Sri Lankan dinner. Also the surrounding area full of culture, history and animals!

Positive: Honestly one of my favourite places I've stayed in so far, nalin was beyond helpful and organised/booked an amazing safari for me as well as providing plenty of extra water just in case and binoculars, very knowledgeable (definitely listen to his suggestions!), and will help with absolutely anything! I was put at ease straight away - truly such a kind and thoughtful host! The home cooked meals were some of the best food ive had in sri lanka! I definitely would recommend, I had the best weekend!

Positive: Staying here was an unforgettable experience thanks to the incredible hospitality of Nalin and his family. They went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and cared for. The place was spotless, and the included dinner was absolutely amazing, honestly the best food I’ve had during my trip. I had an issue with my left eye, which was swollen and painful, Nalin kindly took me to the doctor for a check up, which meant so much, especially as I was traveling alone. I can’t recommend this place enough. Nalin and his family are truly wonderful!

Positive: Amazing trip, and our host made it extra special - before we even arrived he helped to organise our safari, was flexible with check in and check out times and provided wonderful food and a great room which far exceeded our expectations. The local area (lakes) were amazing, and he helped us make the most of our time there.

Positive: Word cannot express how grateful we are to Nalin and Isharni for welcoming us into their home during Sinhalese New Year. Staying at Black Panther Yala was the absolute highlight of our two weeks in Sri Lanka. It was such a special weekend where we learnt/ate traditional food (e.g. oil cake), participated in the rituals and traditions and met the neighbours and relatives. The room was comfortable and the food delicious. Dinner included is such a rare treat. The location is lovely, set next to the wetlands. You can borrow bike and ride around the area. We did a safari through a driver that our host recommended and it was amazing. I would highly recommend Black Panther to anyone!

Positive: I feel very lucky to stay at Nalin’s place. I highly recommend it! It was the best place during my trip. The room was very clean, the mattress was comfortable. We got 5 star service here. Nalin was very kind and nice, prepared everything I asked for, hot water for shower, fruit and blanket. He also brought us to see sunrise, visit 4 beautiful lakes and local temples, and introduced birds. He has very rich bird knowledge. We even saw swimming crocodile in a lake! His wife cooks so well! We had super delicious homemade dinner. I really love it! Nalin also helped us book a safari, and we saw leopard, bear, and many other animals.
