We welcome well-behaved dogs (non-aggressive breeds) at the house. We do ask that dogs stay off beds and furniture (we provide a doggy bed) and that guests properly dispose of pet waste. Dogs must be under direct supervision of owners, and not left alone at the house uncrated. We provide bowls for food and water, but guests must bring dog food.
Please note there is one outside motion-activated Ring security camera above the carport, facing the driveway.

Summary: I was surprised to find a rental property in this part of rural West Virginia near where our family reunion was taking place. The check in process was very easy and the home had everything we needed during our stay. The only downside is the home is located on a busy county road and would recommend a white noise machine or ear plugs. There is great WIFI and TV streaming services.

Summary: Clean nicely stocked house. Washer and dryer on premises. Plenty of household essentials stocked by owners and other guests...we contributed by accidentally leaving our high speed charger for cell phone there lol. Will use again if visiting our relatives again.

Summary: Called owner a few times for issues with internet that were not his fault. He was always so friendly and pleasant. I left something there and he mailed it to me at his expense. Great guy

Summary: There was alot of road noise at time , but you get used to that very quickly. Neighborhood is very quite and friendly people. The town as a whole is very friendly and welcoming.

Summary: If you are wanting to slow down in life and just relax, this is the house to do it in. From the ease of entering to checking out, we had a very restful mini vacation. The home has a vintage feel with a boost of modern. Each room has everything you need to make you feel at home. The beds are comfortable, closets are roomy, lots of drawer space, blankets. Bathroom has extras in case you forgot anything. Kitchen is very equipped to cook in each day if needed. Air blows well and internet works great! There is some beautiful hand painted art work and quirky pieces in each room. I also found fun tucked into each corner. Board games in one room, books and DVD’s spread throughout. Even found a great vintage trivia book that we enjoyed testing each other’s knowledge with. Don’t forget the WV book in the master bedroom that will take you to some beautiful places throughout the state! The area is just as relaxing. We took a walk through town, made a stop at Heritage Park, checked out Charles Fork Lake, Washington Park and did some geocaching while out and about. We stayed during the 4th of July and the host gave us a great suggestion on where to sit for fireworks. Just beautiful and spot on! Can’t wait to return! Thank you so much Darien!

Summary: We had to make some last-minute vacation changes, and found this home in the area we were looking for. Such a nice little home! Very clean, and had everything we needed. Owner was responsive and easy to communicate with. Very comfortable home, and would not hesitate to stay again.
