Summary: Beautiful hotel with breathtaking views. Really weird that the hotel did not have a restaurant (and only had a cold breakfast). Seems like such a missed opportunity. I had expected a fresh, clean-eating type dining option in-house, in line with the hotel’s philosophy of respect for nature and materials. I’d have loved a restaurant in the breakfast room (“the fluke”) serving a light lunch and dinner, not necessarily vegan or vegetarian, but at least with locally sourced, organic produce. Instead guests are referred to eating across the street, where battered, fried fish, fries and burgers are served. Guests have to drive for any alternatives, which unfortunately takes you out of the bubble the hotel seeks to create. The few staff members we met seemed very inexperienced and uneasy around customers apart from the lady in charge of breakfast and the guy responsible for the bicycles. It really seems that so much more could be done by the hotel to utilise the surroundings and the vibe of the hotel.

Summary: The resort offered a plethora of easily accessible amenities and facilities were well maintained. Our canine companion was greated by all staff with excitement which made for a comfortable, maritime experience where we felt at home. We will absolutely be back!

Summary: Hotel was great. Very spacious and clean. The walk-in shower was amazing. The view was spectacular. The only negative I have is the smoke detector flashed all night long and the light sockets also glowed. I like pitch back when I sleep. But that was very minor. I would give this place 9.5 out of 10. The restaurant Fin Folk Food was close and amazing as was the ice cream shack. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Summary: Brand new hotel very well located, very clean. Staff have lack of experience, my réservation for the restaurant was made on the wrong day. Their was a spa and a pool, but you had to reserve your spot for a maximum of 30 minutes... The spa was at 98 degree and should have been at 104, could not get it up. Breakfast room was awesome, but the setup was not, toaster not working all the time, coffee was cold on our second day

Summary: We had an amazing stay at blackbush Beach Resort. We didn’t like the first room we had so we switched to the room at was advertised on Hotels.com. Once we got the room sorted out, the rest was excellent. New and modern resort in a idillic location. Everything was perfect. Surprising so was the continental breakfast. It was healthy, with great selection and awesome coffee.

Summary: This was THE MOST INCREDIBLE resort! Every single person working there was so kind, friendly and accommodating. We will definitely go back, in fact, it was very hard to leave. We had an awesome time, and our dog Kolby, also had the best dog vacation ever! Accommodations are a 10 out 10. The staff are a 10 out 10! Kudos to all. Can’t thank you enough.
