Located in the mountains of East Tennessee just a minute from the main campus of LMU, five minutes from plenty of hiking at the Cumberland Gap National Historical Park, a few miles away from Norris Lake, only an hour from Knoxville, and 1.5 hours from the Pigeon Forge/Sevierville/Gatlinburg area.

Summary: The house and location overall were good for us, right across from LMU. The hosts were very nice and responded quickly. While we were told, the driveway needs repair, very uneven. Inside, the fridge was not clean when we arrived. The carpet in the living room is dated and stained. We were unable to find the switch that turned on the light over The kitchen table. Water pressure for the showers was great. Overall we were happy to find this rental, but attention to These issues would make it an even better place to stay.

There were plenty of extra pillows, blankets, and towels for our needs. Our biggest complaint was the driveway. It isn’t paved and getting cars up and down was tricky. The houses surrounding the property also appeared to be abandoned, which was a little sketchy. Otherwise, we had a pleasant stay and would consider staying here again if we ever returned to the area.
