Positive: The newly renovated apartment was gorgeous through the living, dining and bedrooms. It was in an incredible location, a stones throw from the cutest, non crowded beach. It was well appointed, and clearly a lot of thought has gone into it. The beds and sofa were beautifully comfortable.
Negative: The outside... the entrance and the outdoor area could do with some love! It was not inviting and i thought maybe i had made a big mistake... but once we got inside (eventually) all was well. The instructions for key collection were very clear and well documented. unfortunately, they were incorrect. we were stuck outside for over an hour, and calling the manager did not produce ready help. we eventually decided to try other means, and luckily we could open a completely different lock box to access the keys. i hate to think how long we would have waited for help. that said, we did eventually get an apology and an offer of a late checkout. Beach towels, some games/ cards and a Bluetooth speaker would be a welcome addition, or just bring your own. All said and done, we would go back! It was a fabulous spot, tastefully decorated, and great value.

Negative: While the place was a great location, we were very disappointed in the cleanliness and upkeep on the space. The shower handle was broken so the second bathroom couldnโ€™t be used. The microwave does not work. Both of these were reported to the maintenance tool provided. The apartment needs urgent spraying for cockroaches. German cockroaches were literally EVERYWHERE and the droppings covered floors, skirting boards and power boards. Needless to say it was not a comfortable stay. The whole space needs a thorough clean and fumigate. This is my first time ever to complain about a booking and I donโ€™t take it lightly. Iโ€™d really like to be able to stay again but not in this condition

Positive: Great location, right next to the beach with a leafy backyard for our dog. The house was overall cleanly maintained with good furnishings. We could cook a little, watch movies on the entertainment system. Overall, it was a good experience.
Negative: There is mould in the main bedroom. I am allergic to mould and it gets me sneezing violently. I could not sleep in the main bedroom at all, had to sleep on the couch. I think the mould is in the security screen and there are probably spores on the bed linen.

Positive: Location was good. Spacious interior and good yard for dog.
Negative: No table outside to sit and eat. Dirty covers left on outdoor lounges. Toilets in disrepair - water not filling into the cistern tanks 70% of the time. - stressful. Bathrooms are very dated. Toilets would not flush regularly. Unnecessary chain strung across the underground carpark which we reversed into as it was not easily visible and a very tight narrow 90 degrees turn for two vehicles. The massive Aldi television and supporting 6 remote controls for TV, woofer, DVD and whatever else was rubbish! It would freeze at 8pm each night! And you could not change channels. Subtitles.Rubbish!!!! Kitchen, lounge and dining was nice. Close to beach and actual beach was gorgeous! Beds were comfi. No BBQ as advertised. Owner appears to live on the upstairs level and made a point of "taking out the rubbish" when we arrived which forced us to meet them.. Yet they declined earlier check in (3pm,) and later check out (10am). No evidence of back to back bookings. Loads of dirt under the beds. Showers need a good bleaching.
