Positive: I'm sitting writing my review in the beautiful garden of the Blissful Garden Studio. We booked a few days in an apartment, hoping for some relaxation after a busy start to the trip in Lisbon and wow, we have had the most blissful few days. The attention to detail inside the studio is nothing I've seen before. Beautiful wooden interior, thoughtfully designed for your comfort. A modern bathroom, bedding, towels and everything you need to make a good meal. Complimentary coffee and a machine. They've even got a drawer of essential food items you can purchase if you're too tired to go out. The bed is so comfy and lots of pillows! Great if you suffer from chronic pain, like myself! The garden is stunning, with lots of seating options around for different times of day. You'll get the odd visit from one of the local cats (a bonus for us). I've spent so much time enjoying the flowers, trees and bird song. Just behind the house there is a walk down by a stream, which also hosts some amazing plants, birds and trees if that's your thing! I highly recommend. There's a bus stop a 2 minute walk from the house to take you directly to the beach (lovely journey) and busses into the centre of Sintra. There's so much to see. We will be back for another trip. We find the local transport very easy and simple to use. Especially if you downloaded Citymapper. We've felt so welcome and cared for here. You really won't regret booking this studio, it's a small home from home and the public transport is easy! Uber is also very reasonably priced here. Thank you so much, you've been so accommodating and wonderful!! 🧡

Positive: The studio is super peaceful and blissful, and in a great location within walking distance to the historic centre but away from the tourist bustle. The place is modern and thoughtfully fitted out with everything you need. Plus, Jacques and Mafalda were very generous, hospitable, and communicative hosts who made my stay truly wonderful!! Would have loved to stay even longer and would love to stay again.

Positive: Excellent location, friendly and accommodating hosts, very good communication, very responsive to messages, accommodation was very spacious, clean and homely. Would definitely recommend it. The cute cats were a welcomed addition. Free on road parking, quiet neighbourhood, eco-friendly, close to town, several larger supermarkets within short driving distance, the Portuguese Riviera and Lisbon both within 30 min drive from property. Locally several places to visit the town itself with the historic centre, hiking trails, several parks/gardens plus castles/museums and beaches within easy reach.
