Positive: A very unique wonderful stay, perfect location for our visit to Sintra. The “Stone House” is absolutely beautiful, spotlessly clean and well equipped. The host Mario was exceptional in welcoming us and providing directions to local facilities and attractions.

Negative: All was excellent, wish we had booked a longer stay!!!

Summary: Made our visit to Sintra a great experience.

Positive: Great place to stay in Sintra. The house is old and very beautiful, with old furniture and decorations. In the summer it is great to have the opportunity to sit on the terrace. But we were not very lucky with the weather, so we did not take advantage of it. Conveniently located in the center, just 10 minutes on foot from the train station. Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby where you can eat. The historic center and castles are easy to walk to or take a taxi, which is inexpensive (we used the Bolt app). Mario is a very attentive host, always in touch, and he helped us a lot with his recommendations for places to visit around. From Sintra you can take a bus to Cabo da Roca and Cascais. We really enjoyed our stay in Sintra.

Negative: The first day it was cold in the house, but there were electric heaters and we warmed up later. In the future, I would suggest the owner to warm up the house before guests arrive. Otherwise, no complaints.
