Positive: We were on a short road trip through the Western Cape and spent the night in Bloomestate. The large property is impressive, the bungalow-style rooms are very clean and individually furnished. The welcome was very friendly and courteous. The very best thing, however, was that we were allowed to taste oranges and lemons to our heart's content in the adjacent citrus plantation. The breakfast was definitely the best on our trip. The fruit salad was arranged with a lot of passion. The scrambled eggs were excellent. At the gate, Cherè gave us small cookies for our onward journey. Hard to believe, but true. I usually never write reviews, but this service convinced me and I will book with BLOOMESTATE again at the next opportunity.
