Summary: The cottage was clean, comfortable, and very well situated in town. The kitchen was well equipped, allowing us to cook most of our meals there. It's in a quiet neighborhood where you can walk to anything you might want.

Summary: Three of us (couple and a single) enjoyed our five night stay. Location is great. Only 15 min walk to downtown and theaters. Enjoyed some great food at walkable restaurants. Cottage, although older, is nicely appointed and equipped. Would stay again if the space was needed.

Summary: Furnishings OK on first glance, but when you look closer, you noticed the stained couch, worn bedspread edges, and mildew in the showers. Kitchen equipment is cheap so plan on eating out most the time. Decor looks as though probably came from Goodwill. Odd design layout with second bathroom off the kitchen. The second bedroom has you go through the dining room and living room and kitchen to access this bathroom. The mattress in the second bedroom is poor, because it lists both vertically and horizontally, making you roll around, trying to find a stable place to sleep. The primary bedroom mattress was good. Really tiny television. Good Internet service. Excellent air conditioning during record high 99° day. The location is excellent as regards the Ashland co-op store, restaurants, reasonable proximity to OSF Plaza. These comments take into account the amount paid (over $1700 for 4 weeknights M-Thurs, last week in September).

Summary: No complaints about this listing. It's a quick walk to the theaters and shops. Nice neighborhood. Very clean and well stocked. We would stay here again. I suggest the owner hire a gardener to maintain the front and back yards. The trees and bushes are overgrown and in need of water and the lawns are mostly weeds. Most neighbors here have beautiful yards so they would probably appreciate this as well.

Summary: The property was in a nice area with off street parking and located within a short distance to shopping and restaurants and events. Manager was prompt with an answer to a question I had. Cute landscaping with outdoor seating to enjoy our stay. Generally clean. It could use an easy chair in living area.
