Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Home was in a great location. It was clean (a few dead bugs on the floor when we arrived- but at least they were dead) and they had everything we needed. When we arrived, there was puddled water on the floor which we determined to be from the freezer. The ice trays look to have been filled and placed in the freezer at the wrong angle so the door wasn't closed. We dried it all up, adjusted the ice trays and closed the freezer. The freezer didn't really recover so the bag of ice we put in there melted some, but hey- it's the beach, so we dealt with it. When we took out our one bag of trash after the weekend, one bin was piled high with trash from the other rental so we had to use what looked like the recycle can. The only real drawback was the wet damp odor. The humidity was very high and severely affected my asthma. We went the 2nd day to get damp rid bags from Walmart and immediately noticed a huge difference, but my breathing just couldn't recover. All in all it was a good stay, and we'd stay again, but will be packing damp rid bags for the next trip.

Bed was very comfortable and we were surprised with all the extras given to make our stay welcomed. If we ever come back we will definitely be using this unit or one of the management's rentals.

Summary: The place was very clean and cute. It has everything we needed for a quick beach getaway. Communication with the owner could have been better (much was automatically sent emails that were incomplete or confusing and much of the info looked like it was copied and pasted from another unit and not adequately edited). There are stairs in the unit that need some sort of safety marking. I would definitely stay there again. We enjoyed the neighborhood and walking to the bayou/bay. The location was convenient.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This place was perfect for me and my husband. It was very clean and I especially loved that it had a full sized refrigerator! There were a few hiccups that came up, but they were resolved very quickly! Although the location may not be ideal for some, it is for ones like us that like to go to a different beach each day! It was within minutes to at least five that we chose to visit! An outside water hose to spray off (before going inside) and a washer and dryer would make this place PERFECT! However; we couldn't have asked for a better overall experience! Highly recommend!
