Inside the lodge, wood construction, cheerfully painted walls, and rustic décor combine to create a comfortable, cozy mountain ambiance. The open floor plan and two large screened decks provide ample space to gather and relax, and the three bedrooms, each with rustic log furniture, sumptuous bedding, private bath, fabulous view, and 32” TV, provide a hotel-like experience.
The master bedroom, with a king bed, has its own balcony and the downstairs bedroom with queen bed, has deck access. All three bathrooms feature walk-in showers, and the one downstairs includes a jetted tub. There's two sets of twin bunks in the game room, bringing the sleeping accommodations to 10.
In the spacious kitchen, you'll find solid wood cabinets, plenty of counter and storage space including a pantry, upgraded gas stove, icemaker and Keurig coffeemaker. There's seating for eight at the dining table, plus two at the breakfast bar. Or grill your dinner out on the screened-in upper deck, where there's a picnic table, sectional sofa, rockers and chairs. You can head down to the lower deck to enjoy the view as you soak in the hot tub, or make a batch of s'mores as you bask in the warmth of the fire pit.
Indoor entertainment options include skeeball, board games, five flat screen TVs with DirecTV, including a 55” smart TV in the living room and a DVD player in the game room. The cabin also includes a laundry, wifi, and a double driveway.
Blue Chase Lodge is named for the owners' dogs, Sebastian Blue and Chase, and you're welcome to bring your canine best friends with you to explore the grounds and lie on the sunny deck like they do. Summary: Was everything we expected. Well equipped with nice amenities. Everyone loved the hot tub and the Skeebal game. The kids loved exploring the woods and the lake. I was impressed with the TV options. Frequently the options are the minimum cable or streaming options. This cabin had virtually every option available! There several sporting events I wanted to see and was able to see them all.

Summary: My wife and I stayed at Blue Chase Lodge during a recent weekend getaway to Blue Ridge and really enjoyed the property. The cabin is a great size with 3 separate bedrooms, yet still feels cozy; it was just the two of us (plus a pup) and it did not feel empty at all. It's very well appointed and made us feel like we were staying at a friend's place. The kitchen had all the utensils, appliances and conveniences one would need. The living area was comfortable but it's hard not to spend time on the main deck, with its comfortable seating and commanding view of the mountains and lake. We'll definitely look to stay here again on a future trip to the area.

Summary: Beautiful views, cozy home. Lost power from a storm after we arrived, but we bought some candles in town & made the most of it until power was restored! Skee-ball machine in the kids room was played by our youngest the entire weekend while the adults hung around the fire! 10/10 recommend, we will be back!

Summary: The biggest selling point for us was the glorious view from our cabin. It's conveniently located just a few miles from the lake but far enough away from civilization to enjoy the richness of God's goodness. The cabin was spacious and held 9 of us comfortably. The only complaint (which wasn't a huge deal) was the King sized mattress. The first night we were there, we went to lay down and it felt like we're were laying in two different craters. The middle of the bed had about 6 inches where it was leveled. My husband turned the mattress around the next night and it was a whole lot better. We would for sure stay again and recommend it to friends.
