Summary: The cabin is located just far enough away to feel like you are deep in the mountains but you are still close to stores and downtown. The cabin is set up well and has all the needed amenities. The wrap around porches are great and the outdoor fire pit area is wonderful for relaxing and spending quality time with others.

Summary: This was the second time for our family to stay at Hid ‘n Timber - 10 of us from ages 17 to 78. We like the layout of the house for our family with 3 different levels. There’s lots to do in the Blue Ridge area - there’s just not enough time to do it all in a week! The owner has been prompt with issues that have come up. Last year we were there during the tornado that came through - he was on top of getting the trees removed and letting us know when power would be restored. This year we had a new generator and air conditioner. Looking forward to returning next year!

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this cabin. The pictures do not do it justice. It is a gorgeous property with privacy and lots of things for kids to do. The downstairs area was perfect for our kids to play and watch movies. They loved the fooseball table, assortment of games, and arcade game. The adults enjoyed the fire pit area and we sat around it every night. The beds were super comfortable. We had 5 boys ages 4-8 and they loved the bunk room. We also enjoyed the hot tub and explored the woods. We hope to return one day when the weather is warmer and enjoy some water activities. During our trip, we visited the Bear Claw Winery and the Toccoa Swinging Bridge. Matt was a great host and the cabin was very clean.

Summary: We had a group of 14, adults and children and had a wonderful time relaxing by the firepit, in the hot tub, playing with the kids in the basement, and using the well-stocked kitchen. Comfortable beds and bedrooms. Close to the lake and Aska National hiking trails and we love downtown Blue Ridge, shops and restaurants. Will return!

Summary: This is a great house for a group of families looking to get away. The basement with the bunk room, TV set up and foosball allowed our teens to have fun time away from the adults upstairs. The kitchen was very well equipped and the owner responded immediately when we had a question about getting the temperature up on the lower level. The master bedroom is gorgeous. Would definitely stay here again.
