Positive: We had an unforgettable stay at these beautiful villas in Crete, and the local hospitality completely exceeded our expectations. Although we had heard about Crete’s famous warmth and friendliness, nothing prepared us for the incredible welcome we received. We arrived after midnight to find a lovely surprise waiting for us in our villa’s kitchen - complimentary local snacks, fresh fruits, raki, and water. On our last evening, Eva’s mother even brought us more homemade raki and delicious local treats. Eva, our host, was wonderful and very knowledgeable. The next day she provided us with excellent recommendations on must-see sights and introduced us to some local restaurants and tavernas. The villa itself was a lovely, air-conditioned one-bedroom apartment with its own private entrance and a terrace boasting a stunning sea view. Situated in a peaceful complex on a hill above Stalida, it offered a perfect balance of tranquility and convenience. The beach was just a 10-minute walk away, though be prepared for an uphill walk back - if that’s a challenge, a car might be a good option. Down the hill in Stalida and Malia, there were plenty of shops (some open late), beaches and tavernas to explore. Overall, this stay was a perfect blend of comfort, stunning views, and exceptional hospitality. We would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Crete!

Positive: The villas are on a hill overlooking Stalida, so you get an unbeatable view and its also very quiet and relaxing. The host was very welcoming and greeted us with a nice homemade treat and even offerred us a free breakfast for the first day which was delicious. Also, very comfortable beds.

Positive: First of all, the view was absolutely astonishing! We spent some time nearby the villa just enjoying the scenery. Secondly, the villa was great! We loved it! The place was quite specious, with lovely interior and fully-equipped kitchen. And of course, I want to thank our amazing host Eva! We have never experienced such hospitality! :) She helped with everything we needed, left some welcoming treats for us, and gave recommendations where to go and what to see nearby. It was very nice and kind!

Negative: There was a minor issue with one AC: it got broken, unfortunately. The second AC worked just fine, but it was taking some time to cool the place. Nevertheless, Eva took care of the problem right away. In my opinion, to stay at the villa, it is better to have a car, because the place is on a hill. It is not a minus, just a comment to consider.

Positive: Convenient location for exploring central/eastern Crete. Stunning setting with a spectacular view. Beautiful landscaping. Cosy and comfortable suite with a fully stock kitchen. Gracious, enthusiastic and welcoming hosts made our stay even more special.

Negative: The road leading to the villas was hard to navigate for first-time visitors. Steep and unpaved incline leading to the property. Drivers need to use extra care. A rental car is needed for using this property as a base for exploration. The suite was a little smaller than we expected.
