Negative: We arrived in dark and it was icy entrance from the car park was treacherous. Think it would be advisable to recommend arriving in daylight as access is tricky. Easier from the main road once we had found the property. The house was more suited to a family of 2 adults and two children and not four adults. Very well stocked w plates and cooking equipment except one thing a proper colinder!!! But no complaints just suggestions! We absolutely loved the location !

Positive: The area, how warm and cosy it was, had everything we needed for a weekend away. Beds were comfy.

Negative: Just the parking arrangements but if we had looked when booking properly we would have seen that.

Positive: Well situated, greenery and plenty of birds, cosy, very clean, well equipped kitchen

Negative: The bathroom is in need of maintenance. Tap on bath was so stiff, that we weren’t able to use bath or shower for 2 days until a neighbour helped us. Messages to the agent remained unanswered. Also light and steam extractor were combined and the noisy extractor continued to work for a long time after light had been switched off. To avoid this, a touch light was provided but there was no cable to re-charge it and it stopped working on our first night.

Summary: Very nice place in the beautiful Langdale valley and superb weather
