Summary: The bellman, Showtime, and front desk, Alex were fantastic. Showtime gave full explanation of room and layout, responded with many option to my query about restaurants. During the efficient and smooth checkin, Alex said he would follow up by text so I would have 24/7 ability to contact front desk with questions and concerns. He did exactly as promised. He was good as his word, answering questions promptly no matter what time. As did others at the front desk if Alex was off duty. It was my first time in Chicago and these two made my solo travel welcoming and safe. No to mention, Meli’s Cafe next door and Gino’s East Pizza across the street.

Summary: The hotel is almost great. WiFi is terrible. Rooms are new, spacious and comfy. The location is decent. Close to the metro and bus stations. The bathroom is huge. The only thing that really needs improvement is the wifi, looks like from the early 2000. Free wifi is 3 to 5 Mbps, paid wifi is 10 Mbps. Wanted to back up some photos real quick, I couldn't. Had to go to a restaurant to do so. For 2025, I would expect at least 50-100 Mbps free, and 200+ for paid wifi.

Summary: The staff was incredible! Prompt and accommodating to our needs, and very helpful finding our way around the city. The rooms were spotless and comfortable. Will definitely stay there again!

Summary: Hotel Blake is a fantastic option when staying in the Loop in downtown Chicago. Great location within the city and close proximity to all the train lines. Staff was super kind and helpful. Room was great, no complaints at all. Surprisingly good coffee available for guests each morning. Would definitely stay here again!
