## Space
This villa in the heart of the old town of Antibes, behind the historical remparts (city walls), offers a panoramic view of the sea and the mountains. It is a village house of 120 m2 full of charm that can accommodate up to 6 people.
The villa consists of the following way:
On the ground floor:
- An dependent studio at home with a sofa bed convertible two people (160 x 200 CM), a bathroom with a shower and a toilet, a kitchen (with the washing machine)
In the basement :
- A bedroom with two 80 cm single beds that can be assembled upon request to form a double bed for your convenience.
1st floor:
- The master bedroom with its bathroom and many storage areas
- an independent WC
2nd floor:
- A beautiful spacious TV lounge area with fireplace and a desk
3rd floor:
- fully equipped kitchen
- A cute terrace overlooking the stunning vieil Antibes, being the historical old town of Antibes.
4th floor:
- A large terrace to accommodate 6 people for lunch or sunbathing with a panoramic view and breathtaking sea and mountains (sun loungers available).
## Access
You have access to the entire house excepting the cellar of the basement.

I will wait for you at the entrance of the house to check in and answer your questions about the house and the neighborhood.

## Neighborhood
After a refreshing swim on the beach of Gravette, the alleys of the old town will welcome you with open arms for memorable walks.
Borrow the Porte Marine, which for centuries was the only possible access from the port to the city, and dive into the maze of streets of Old Antibes.
You can discover the typical architecture of Antibes, all in a splendid setting. Gourmands (and gourmets!) Have an appointment at the Provençal Market which takes place every morning on Cours Masséna.
It is a real festival of flavors and perfumes proposed by local producers. But do not forget to enjoy a piece of socca or pissaladière. In the evening, place to artisans ...
A few steps away, rue Sade and its small shops will take you to the Place Nationale to end the day by listening to a concert under the gazebo or enjoying a refreshing ice cream.
Moreover, the stroll in the alleys of Old Antibes offers you many surprises.
## Transit
If you arrive by train, you have the train station SNCF Antibes 1 km from the villa is 10-15 minutes walk.
If you arrive by car, you must take the A8 Antibes motorway exit which is located 15-20 minutes from the accommodation. For parking you have several paying places in the city but free in the evening.
You also have paid parking in the city. The closest is just two minutes walk from the villa:

Linens and bath towels are included in your reservation.
Access to the house is only by foot.
This house is on 4 levels without elevators, young children (who already know how to walk) are not recommended for safety reasons.
Parties are not allowed.

No soap, no laundry detergent, no coffee.
Cleaning is only for the end of your stay. If you want to change linens or have a cleaning during your stay, please contact the agency to get a quote for this extra service.

Summary: You could not have a better location- In the old town around the corner from the market, shops and beach. The kitchen was well appointed and the two different decks were beautiful and great places to relax, enjoy meals, the sunset and cocktails. I would not recommend for groups that include young children or people with physical limitations because of the long, steep staircase. We felt like locals living in the neighborhood.

Summary: Let me first say that we LOVED the place-perfect for our family. Beautiful view of the sea, right in old town, on a quiet street, and a stone's throw from the market. The only negative is we spent three days with no hot water after 5 people had spent 30 hours traveling! We tried calling /emailing VIA AirBnB message and nobody answers on weekends or after hours. The girl who came to check us in was so sweet - she sent us a list of places to check out, and she tried fixing the problem and it got lukewarm at first, then nothing. Ice cold. I finally figured out you have to reset the water heater for each shower or whenever you need hot water. And you have to turn it up past max. Had we known this from the start (or even where to locate the hot water heater) wouldn't have been a big deal but it's frustrating when nobody gets back with you or even offers to reduce the rate for the inconvenience. Also, it was advertised to have amenities like soap, shampoo, toilet paper- and when we got there there was no soap, no shampoo, and only one roll of toilet paper. And no paper towels or coffee or anything.. (which I guess we just assumed would be provided). The lady brought us some TP, BARS OF SOAP AND SHAMPOO the same day we asked her about it. All in all, we had a great trip. But now that I'm home I'm definitely enjoying my first HOT shower in over a week!
