In a unique location with breathtaking panoramic views of the sea, mountains, sandy beach, Fort Carré and Port Vauban, you’ll experience a magical atmosphere here for your holiday. We affectionately call the apartment 'Place de Rêves' (Place of Dreams) as the building’s entrance is just off the ‘Place de Revely’ in the Old Town of Antibes. It is on the 3rd (top) floor in the building next to the former home of the artist Nicolas de Staël and has Air Conditioning throughout the apartment as well as 2 balconies, 1 in the bedroom and 1 off the living room. The bedroom is with a king-sized bed (160 x 200cm) and there is a large sofa bed (170 x 200cm) in the living room. The sunny and spacious living room comes equipped with a Roland digital piano overlooking the marina. Best of all, the Mediterranean Sea lies just outside so the views are quite stunning !
The apartment is located inside the pedestrian zone where rental cars & Ubers are not permitted and a one-minute walk through the Place de Revely and under the Roman arch of the Old City wall to the famous market called the ‘Marché Provençal’ where you’ll find fresh local produce. Within a few meters is the world acclaimed Picasso Museum where he worked in the 1940s and where you’ll find a stunning collection of his paintings and ceramics. Picasso painted his "La Joie de Vivre" in Antibes in 1946. Today, Antibes still embodies The Joy of Life.
Possibly the most perfectly-situated apartment in Antibes, you’ll find a large choice of restaurants, shops, and cafes within easy walking distance (2 minutes or less!). The apartment provides an ideal setting for a car-less vacation on the French Riviera. We can provide for pick-up and drop-off at Nice (NCE) Airport and drive you into the pedestrian zone directly to the building if needed at an extra charge.
The fantastic views make the open plan kitchen/living room/dining area a natural gathering area for relaxing, and cooks will appreciate the well-appointed kitchen. The kitchen includes an electric oven, electric cooker with glass hob, microwave, fridge with freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer combo, Nespresso machine, milk frother and coffee presses (cafetières) in two sizes. All fittings are high quality and the kitchen will have everything you need to cook fine food at home.
Whether you're lingering over a pain au chocolat and coffee on the balcony table-for-2 for breakfast or you’re proudly serving dinner made from fresh Provençal ingredients you purchased at the market on the dining table (seats 6), you’ll enjoy the ever changing views of the Mediterranean below.
The well-appointed bathroom has a shower, tub and towel warmer.
For exploring further afield, the apartment is a 10-minute walk to trains/buses to Cannes, Nice, Monaco, and the Nice airport. Ski resorts in the Alps are located within a 1.5-2 hour drive (Isola 2000 & Auron).
Your rental includes an "arrival starter kit" (toilet paper, paper towel roll, soap, coffee, tea, milk, wine and water), cleaning for a 2 guest rental, (a one-time fee of £50.00 will be added for 3 or more guests / if linens for the pull out couch are needed), bed linen, towels, beach towels & beach gear, electricity, water, WiFi, and phone calls to fixed lines in most parts of the world (Europe, Continental USA and Canada) and phone calls to mobile phones in the continental USA and Canada. Summary: We absolutely loved our stay in Antibes, especially our stay in the extraordinary apartment on the ramparts! We immediately felt at home the moment we walked in, and knew we wouldn’t want to leave. The location was among the best in Old Town Antibes. The restaurants and shops were abundant and outstanding. Provençal market was very convenient and definitely worth a stroll through. The hosts, Jonathan and Judy were very welcoming, accommodating and helpful. Their apartment is very well stocked with everything you could need and quite comfortable and cozy. And, indeed the view was stunning! We will return to this charming abode! Summary: We had an amazing stay at this super clean and conveniently located sea-front apartment in Antibes. The hosts Judy and Jonathan were so friendly, helpful, and informative, making us feel so welcome and at-home from the very first communication, to picking us up at the airport, showing us around the apartment at check-in, and throughout our stay. We are also Vrbo "superhosts" of a property in Hawaii, so we really appreciated how completely this property was supplied with every convenience imaginable, and great instructions and food and shopping recommendations. Summary: Stunning views, perfect location in the old town. Easy walk to market, shops, & restaurants. Train station 10 minute walk for day trips up & down the coast. We have stayed in Antibes many times and know our way around but 1st timers will find the location perfect for getting around the Côte d'Azur.

Summary: We had a fabulous 5 night stay here celebrating our 25th anniversary and everything was exceptional. The hosts were very kind, helpful and communicative and offered excellent recommendations. The apartment was conveniently located and very comfortable. It worked out as a very nice central home base to explore the area. You should BOOK this wonderful place. You will NOT regret it. Judy and Jonathon were excellent hosts. I am so grateful that they were willing to share their lovely apartment with us. It truly was a special place and one that we would love to return to again.

Summary: One of the best experiences we have had across our vacation stays, with our fam of 4 (2 young kids). The house, its location is better than described. Right in the center of town, a 1 min walk to a beach, and some of the most amazing sunrise and sunset views off the balcony. The house has an extremely well stocked kitchen to make some great memories. The pull out couch in the living room was very comfortable, to accomodate 2 people easily. Aircon woked v well for one of the hotter days in the area. Our kids had plenty of beach toys and games to stay entertained. Judy helped us plan our trip out, even before our arrival - and their restaurant and local tips made our stay memorable. If you're in doubt - just book this home !
