Summary: Our family absolutely loved staying here for a week after a wedding in Traverse City. Having coffee every morning by the river, bonfires in the evening, it was so peaceful. It’s a private location, yet close enough to go to Traverse City for dining, activities. The cabin itself was so nice and so comfortable. The kitchen has pretty much everything we needed to cook daily meals. The cabin is cozy and has such a nice “up north” vibe to it. Our whole family enjoyed the week there and were sad to leave!

Summary: The pictures could never capture the true beauty of this place! We visited Lisa's family cabin to escape city living and were not disappointed. This property is cozy and full of light and great energy. It had everything we needed to make home cooked meals, and isolate into nature. The house sits in a secluded area that makes you fee like you are the only people around. Lisa was a wonderful host and always very kind and thorough in our communications. We will definitely come back for another stay, you should too!

Summary: This quaint little cabin tucked in the woods accommodated our group of 6 with plenty of room to spare. The crisp river provided endless entertainment for our two Grandkids kids while the fire pit and changing leaves pleased the adults. The cabin was very nice, clean, and provided everything we needed for our stay. It was an ideal location with 15 to 20 mins to Traverse City, Elk Rapids, and Bellaire and all the surrounding areas. Lots of accessible well kept hiking and biking trails near by. We can’t wait to come back to visit again. Thank you!

Summary: We had one of our best family vacations in recent memory here. Contactless check-in made things extremely easy, and communication with the landlord was friendly yet professional. The property is wonderfully located on the banks of a river, and we enjoyed relaxing in the yard (or on the screened porch) just as much as exploring the many nearby, not-particularly-highly-trafficked trails. Day trips to Sleeping Bear Dunes and the Leelenau Peninsula were eminently doable, too. We hope to be back someday; it was kind of heartbreaking to have to leave!

Summary: Where to start! Our experience with the homeowner and this property has been perfect. Starting with the pandemic, she was very willing to wait and see if we could make it. Communication through the whole trip was perfect. Quick replies. The property itself was gorgeous. The house was the perfect mix of updates and old charm. The house was completely ready for us including linens and towels, and upon leaving we had nothing we had to do. Our dogs enjoyed the property. It was only a short country drive to Traverse City, and there was a nice trail just down the road. We couldn’t ask for a better place and I’m sure we will be back!

Summary: We loved this place!! It was plenty big for all seven adults! The kitchen was large and the dining room table was great! Only down side was no dishwasher and no window coverings in the baths and one bedroom! Everyone left wanting to return!!
