Large, bright and airy, this 4 bed and 4 full bath, 3,400 square foot modern home is on the banks of North Lake Austin with rooftop views and a private boat dock. Boat dock is not available for tie up or use of the boat lift. The large grassy grounds are perfect for playing football or finding your space for relaxation. The home is a stones skip from the waterfront restaurant Ski Shores Cafe and Marina, not far from the popular Emma Long City Park. Perfect for a retreat or family stay and less than 20 minutes from downtown Austin.
Per the city of Austin short term rental ordinance the following rules apply to every vacation rental within city limits, with no exceptions: 1) Outdoor spaces are not available for use from 10 PM to 7 AM, 2) Parties and events are not permitted, 3) Occupancy limit of 6 unrelated adults

Summary: We decided to have a family stay-cay this year because it was hard to wrangle up all the adult children at once and get out of town due to work schedule's and etc...The house was a perfect place for us to get together. It sits directly on the lake with a lily pad in the water awaiting your arrival! The moment you open the front entrance into this modern home you walk into the large great room with it's gorgeous unobstructed view of the lake. This is where the family enjoyed time together if we weren't outside playing on the water. I found the home is spacious enough to slip away to one of the four quiet bedrooms for a lazy cat nap during the day, which was nice . Also, an added perk is the home is just a hop, skip and a jump from "Ski Shores", a 50 year old Lake Austin staple hamburger joint which is so convenient and they just so happened to add a Pickle Ball Court to the property! We played everyday then sat down for a burger and a beer before heading back to the house to watch the sun go down from the large patio. At the end of the vacation we were all sad to go but have already decided to vacation here again. The home and the property made for a perfect vacation! :)

Summary: What a beautiful home! From the moment you pull into this property to opening the front doors to a gorgeous view of Lake Austin, you realize you are in a magical place. This is an amazing family retreat. Our son virtually graduated from UT2020 in this house and we will always remember it. If you are wondering whether to visit this home...do not hesitate.
