DUE TO HURRICANE IAN: Till end of 2022 there will be a fresh renovated house with a blocked garage, some ripped out screens and two sailboats in the backyard.
Location:
The house is in the popular Yacht Club Area, in south/east Cape Coral. Because of the short way to the Caloosahatchee river this is a very valued area for boaters.
Who wants to ride somewhere on the 400mls of waterways Cape Corals in the blazing sun, if you can blow the breeze on the river while you are on the way to the most beautiful beaches or the bar with boat dock?
It is situated along quiet roads, both of which end as dead ends. Here are only 35mph allowed and very little traffic. To restaurants, shopping, bars, the Yacht Club, the beach and much more there are only short distances.
Yard:
The rear yard is completely fenced.
Everywhere are beds with plants and palm trees, which are irrigated by a fully automatic irrigation system. Depending on the season, the landscaper comes every or every two weeks.
Boatdock:
At the canal is a boat dock with lift, guest boat dock and large patio on the water for sitting.
Through the landform you can see the entire canal down.
The lift is blocked with the owners boat, but you can dock you boat at the side.

Due to the solar heating on the roof, we could heat the pool over 90 ° water temperature even in the winter.
Additionally we have a huge electrical heat pump. So you get your favorite pool temperature every time.
Inside:
The house is an old South Florida Ranch built just a few years after the founding of the city. It therefore has the very beautiful old Florida style. Starting with the greatroom you enter as soon as you enter the house. The floridaroom or sunroom is now the dining room with long dining table and 8 chairs. The windows are all cranking. The house is fully air-conditioned.
Wi-Fi is of course available throughout the property at 200 Mbps for free.
The kitchen is completely renovated with white cabinets, dishwasher, small storage room, frenchdoor refrigerator with water and ice cube dispenser.
In the kitchen you will find everything a good vacation kitchen needs, like coffee machine, toaster, dishes, blender (for the pancakes), etc.
In the Greatroom there is a modern sleeper sofa for 2 persons to sleep or all to sit together. A 70" Smart TV with 45+ programs as well as Netflix and a HiFi system provide entertainment.
In the guest bedroom there is a spacious wardrobe, a king-size bed complete with bed linen, a USB charging station and a 60" TV.
The guest bathroom is equipped with a large vanity, large mirror, hairdryer, hand and shower towels and a large shower. This bathroom has been completely renovated.
The master bedroom also has a king size bed complete with linens, a small comode, a USB charging station and a 60" smart TV with local TV channels & Netflix.
From here you can reach the dressing area with 2 areas - for him and her.
Over the dressing room you reach the master bath, which has a separate exit to the pool. The bathroom was also renovated. There is plenty of hand and shower towels, a hairdryer, a large double vanity with black galaxy granite, a shower and a large mirror.
Garage:
In the double garage you can find a washing machine and dryer, as well as 4 bicycles.

Summary: Great property, clean, nice pool. Extra items to use for beach trips. Couch was not comfortable for sleeping on but beds were great.

Summary: The Yacht Club area is a long way from being recovered from the hurricanes so lots of construction in the area and abandoned homes. Construction was going on right next door that put a damper on the stay as the dirt and concrete dust made the pool unusable for much of the time. Home was clean but lacking in some amenities. Property manager was responsive. Location is great for restaurants, shopping etc.

Summary: Just wrapped up two months of sunshine every day at the perfect location in Cape Coral! We used the pool almost every day and never had to use the heat pump to warm the water. The solar panels on the roof kept the water close to 90 all day. The house has been redone and has new appliances and lots of TVs. We rode our bikes uptown to most of the restaurants. We met Andre, Caro and their baby (the owners) great people! Would definitely stay there again. Al and Lisa

Summary: Overall the rental was very good for us and what we were looking for. We spent a lot of time in the pool / lanai area. The pool could have been a touch warmer but overall it was refreshing once in the pool (wasn't for the lack of heat / sunshine...air temps were in the mid to upper 80's). We made full use of the lounge chairs by the pool and the table & chairs next to the pool. The dock area was very nice when we had a private chartered boat day-trip that was able to come there and pick us up for our day out on the ocean. We could drink out on the water without any fear of having to drive anywhere to get home. The furnishings in the house are a little sparse, there's only a very large (and nice) leather sectional sofa in the living room. Could have used a few chairs. We bought an inexpensive floor mat to put down inside the dining room area for the doorway leading from the pool to the house, otherwise with the ceramic tile any little amount of moisture was leading to very slippery floors. I don't recall if we left it there but if so hopefully it stays in use because it made a huge difference. The beds were fairly comfortable, we got a good night's sleep most of the time. We didn't use the grill, but we did point out to the property manager that the grill was broken (the left side shelf was loose and fell off when we took the cover off to inspect it). The bolts that hold it in place need repair, which hopefully the property manager does have taken care of. She did take pictures of the issue. The dishes, glasses, and cookware were sufficient, although the sink could use a drainer to put hand-washed dishes in to have them dry. We couldn't find a second garbage bag for our garbage but managed to make the one we had work for our stay...hopefully more are provided for the next renters. Also, we were left with 1 dishwashing tablet to start our stay...we bought a bag of them and left them there so hopefully the next renter gets full use of them, as well as the hand soap we bought for the 2nd bathroom, because what was in their dispenser was quite gross, honestly. We never had a physical check out either...we had to leave at 5:30 AM on our final day and the property manager never made any arrangements with us after we told her when we were leaving. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and this rental suited our needs fairly nicely. There's just a few little items that would be easy to fix that could make this an outstanding rental.
