Positive: The cottage is in a very peaceful setting with marvelous views across the water to distant hills and mountains. The bed was very comfortable. The cottage was a perfect base for exploring Skye and the Highlands.

Negative: Although it didn't spoil my stay I did notice that the cottage needed some TLC, particularly the windows which where quite rotten in places. As I said, the view was marvelous, but rather spoilt by rubbish and a cement mixer outside the sitting room window. It would have been easy to have kept it more out of sight.

Summary: Lovely little cottage in a perfect setting. Needs TLC
