*PET FRIENDLY* Beautiful, fun, comfortable home for you AND your pets CLOSE TO EVERYTHING! Several sleeping quarters so families can have some privacy. Large fenced back yard has a gas firepit and a 3-level deck for your enjoyment and for sunsets you cannot believe!
++++ PLEASE NOTE: There are many stairs into and in
the home which may be difficult for some guests. Please use extra caution in the winter when stairs and walkways become inherently slippery.
There is no central A/C in the home, only window air conditioners in the bedrooms and a variety of fans. We lived there for many summers without any kind of cooling, but are learning that some might not be able to take the heat. Please be aware of this when booking in the summer++++
We are 1 minute from Standley Lake for trails, fishing, picnicking, paddle-boarding and the incredible Bald Eagle Nesting Sanctuary. Across the street from the most amazing dog park you will ever see and 15 minutes to the nearest MOUNTAIN area (Eldorado Canyon stuns!) We are just 20-25 minutes to Denver and Boulder; 80 minutes to world-class skiing, 40 minutes to Blackhawk/ Central City (casinos galore!), world-class golfing "next door" and 5 minutes to the fantastic Flatirons Mall.
Smoking is allowed outdoors only and well behaved pets are always welcome. We do have a doggy door that can be blocked off if needed.
Airplane enthusiasts and bird watchers alike will LOVE sitting on the back deck watching flying things go by! Standley Lake boasts rare birds too!
Streaming TV's, board games and cards to keep you busy while indoors.
Small electric grill provided (nothing bigger as we sometimes have high fire danger).
Hammock to nap or yard games to excite! Everything you need to enjoy the absolute splendor that is our state! Close to ALL amenities, yet you feel close to the mountains too.
No parties, please.

My 1st Stay in a VRBO property and we are in love
Heidi has a very nice place for a family to stay in. She has thought of just about everything! All we had to do literally was bring our food and clothing. She even had dog kennels in the garage for our little furry ones we brought along. The beds were comfortable and the place even had a portable device charging station! Very handy! It was so thoughtful of her to bring even replacement garbage bags. Heidi also was very easy to communicate with and responded quickly to my couple of questions. I am definitely going to try to get back when we travel back to the area. The place is in a nice neighborhood north of Downtown Denver and the views in the area were postcard worthy of the mountains. Thanks Heidi for making our 1st VRBO experience the best! See you soon!

COVID Graduation with dogs
What a great location for proximity to CU, some of the best pet friendly and activity friendly locations nearby, and easy access for shopping. The house itself was superb for housing us (could have handled 6-7 comfortably but it was only myself and wife), and perfect for the dogs - the fenced backyard was great.

Summary: There wasn’t toilet paper, paper towels, or wipes. The fireplace you advertised was not working. There was urine on one toilet upon arrival and the other toilet was dirty. The linens smelled like other people’s bodies and the pillows were super atrocious and need to be replaced. The bed frames on the larger beds are horrible. The shower was fine. Your place needs attention. The wood siding needs paint and your outer fireplace on the roof needs repair badly. You should at least spend 25 on a larger cheap coffee pot from Walmart..Your WiFi was great. The batteries in the TV remote need to be replaced and your thermostat says it needs new batteries. You should replace the locking handle set on your screen door. The lower level sliding glass door has some serious weather stripping problems and you should remove the magnetic screens on the glass doors because they are in pieces.

Summary: We were in town to meet our new grand daughter, my son and his family also live in Westminster. We were hoping for them to join us at the house, plenty of room for all of us, but you know all the packing up...so we went back and forth. The house is great multiple levels, kitchen well equipped with all you would need. A/c in the bedrooms made for comfortable sleeping. Great view from the backyard. I would highly recommend this location, we will be back!

Summary: The property was in a great location. Close to both Denver and Boulder. There is a beautiful 400 acre dog park within a half a block. We spent every morning walking the trails and watching the dogs play. The Master bedroom was great. The only complaint would be the comfort of the 2 smaller bedrooms, the mattresses need to be upgraded or even if a pillow top thrown on top would have been nice.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay here with two adults and our 3 kids. There was a good amount of space and the games/activities were a nice touch. The deck is fantastic, was a perfect place for coffee in the mornings and there is a big umbrella for shade or shelter from rain. The kitchen is well equipped and beds were comfortable. If you have a group staying here, there isn’t a dining area (just the island with two stools) and the bedrooms that connect are separated by a sliding barn door that won’t do much for sound. The pictures were mostly accurate, bedrooms 2 and 3 are slightly different now. If you are sensitive to scents we found air fresheners (sometimes more than 1) in every room and it was a lot. We stayed in August, so the primary and twin room have window AC units and there are box fans around the house which were helpful. Overall, it was a good rental in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to both Boulder and Denver!
