Positive: We had a lovely warm welcome from the hosts & immediately felt comfortable & at home. The rooms were spectacular & the attention to detail was amazing, from the top quality towels to the Denby crockery & beautiful toiletries. Breakfast was delicious, with quality locally sourced ingredients & home made bread. Michelle went the extra mile by ferrying us around - what a lovely lady! We found an absolute gem of a place here & will definitely return if we're back in the area. I would highly recommend Bonners Lodge

Positive: Bonners Lodge is on its own in a beautiful location in the Durham Dales. It is one of the most peaceful places we have ever experienced in England. This alone makes it worth visiting. Add to that a lovely friendly couple who do everything to make you feel at home, a gorgeous clean room and fantastic breakfasts, it's like you have gone to B&B heaven. The quality of the furnishings around the accommodation and attention to detail make Bonners Lodge very special.

Positive: This was undoubtedly the best B&B we have stayed in! Michelle & Ken were wonderful hosts - so friendly and extremely helpful. They had lots of good advice on where to eat out and the best places to visit. Bonners Lodge itself was perfect. Our room was great. It was beautifully decorated and furnished - and equipped with everything you could possibly want. The setting was beautiful and it was great to meet the animals. The breakfast was also superb - such a lovely choice.
Negative: There was absolutely nothing we could fault and we would love to return if we are able

Positive: The room was exceptional, all the little extras, homemade brownies, coffee bags instead of sachets, lovely fluffy towels in the bathroom, and wonderfully toiletries. Everything was thought of, and Michelle was so friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Top quality food for breakfast and a really relaxed breakfast room with amazing views of the local countryside. This was proper northern hospitality.
Negative: Can't think of anything more that could have been done for us.

Positive: Everything - the room was comfortable, modren and spotless. The breakfast was fabulous, a good range of food to choose from and very tasty 😋. The location was lovely. Very nice views. Lots of walks in the area too. So many places to visit. Michelle was great, made us feel very welcome and always happy to help. Her homemade soda bread and cooking was fabulous. Will definitely be staying again🙂.

Positive: Bonners Lodge B&B is perfect and now at the top of the list of all the B&B's we have visited throughout the UK. We stayed in the Polar Suite which is very tastefully decorated and everything is provided for your comfort. Michelle & Ken are lovely hosts and the breakfast made up from local produce was exceptional. We only wished we had stayed longer but will certainly try and visit again , in the meantime we will highly recommend Bonners Lodge B&B to our friends.
