The Space:
Bonney Tiny House sits in the small town of Meningie, on the southeast side of Lake Albert. It's just an hour's drive from Adelaide and Cape Jervis beaches, which can be reached in 2 hours by car. Nearby accommodation Victor Harbor, Port Elliot, and Coorong National Park.
A comfortable stay that offers guests the opportunity to enjoy two paddocks, a lakefront, and the company of various livestock, including cows, goats, chooks, and geese. Complete with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. The bathroom includes a waterless eco-friendly compost toilet, hand basin, and shower (gas heated for hot showers).

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please advise that there will be other guests on the property—two tiny houses are located on the same paddock. They are 25 m away from each other separated by a tree and Bonney is 15m away from caretaker's cottage as shown on photos. If you want to book in groups, you can contact the land host ahead of time to make arrangements.
Guest Access:
Guest will have access to the tiny house and its surroundings, including the farm, except other parts of the property that may need the land host's permission.

By public transport: CAB pooling or shuttle hiring is advisable.
Other Things to Note:
- No WiFi and no mobile reception
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- We recommend you to bring appropriate shoes during rainy season
- Dont forget to close windows, and lock doors when leaving the tiny house
- Please do not enter animal paddocks or yards without the land host's permission
- Expect unfenced livestock or farm animals freely roaming around the property
- No smoking inside, except in specific places such as the covered carport and gravel driveway
- Dropping cigarette butts on dry grass can start a bushfire. Please put out your cigarettes properly
- Make sure to close the doors and windows, turn off the lights, air conditioning, and electronics (e.g especially chargers)
- Official fire ban starts November 2022 until further notice. During this period, any kind of fire activities will be unavailable for use.
Pets Policy
- Any damage done by pets shall be payable by the guests
- Please contact the land host if you plan to bring your pet.
- Due to limited space inside the tiny house, only small dogs above 2 years old are allowed.
- Pets are allowed inside the tiny house, however, they must be kept on leash at all times as unfenced livestock is present on the property.
Guest Advisory
- Kindly also expect sudden dust storms and sandstorms during periods of drought
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
- Please expect a work-in-progress fencing on the property and do not enter the caretaker's area for privacy
IMPORTANT NOTE PLEASE READ :
- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property
- Keep an eye out for snakes as the property is located in bushland (or grassland) areas
- Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during the fire season
- Guests can collect firewood from pastures or bring their own, or buy them from local service stations
- In order to maintain the cleanliness and functionality of our compost toilets a minimum additional cleaning fee is applied for stays of 5 nights or more. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring a hygienic experience during your stay.
