Welcome to Selah! Beautiful new log cabin, with lake access. The cabin sleeps 8; A master with an ensuite bathroom, including a walk in shower; Two bedrooms upstairs; one with a queen and a twin; the other with a queen and a twin bunk overhead. The upstairs bedrooms share a full bath. An additional half bath is in rec room on lower level. Great WIFI reception and rec room complete with 64" flat screen TV, 7' pool table, foosball and game table. The back deck is perfect for that early morning cup of coffee, as you overlook the treetops. Enjoy a relaxing night indoors by the wood-burning fireplace, or by the fire pit outside. Grill out burgers and dogs, and enjoy on picnic table on the back porch.
Perhaps you'd prefer your burgers w/a view.... grab the potato salad and grill out at the numerous picnic spots on the lake at the end of the road. Lake Rhodhiss is the perfect recreational lake, for kayaking, boating, and swimming. Visitors love the peace and quiet of this pristeen lake. Don't worry, you'll get hooked on all that tranquility!
And if your idea of a great day involves taking a challenging hike- head out to nearby nearby South Mountains State Park, and its 80 ft. waterfall! Check in with the visitors center there, and they'll direct you to more than 40 miles of trails; for hikers, equestrians and mountain bikers!

Summary: We were staying at this property for an extended period of time as we were in the area for work. Communication with the owner was fantastic. The house is beautiful. The area of the state is beautiful. Everything was super clean and well-maintained. We felt like this was the perfect home away from home. I would recommend this home to anyone.

Summary: The host was amazing and great communication. The house was perfect. Had the basic plus more. The layout of the house is great for families and families meeting up with each other. Just bring out the woods makes the property more than amazing. We went into blowing rock, sugar, app and beech ski resort and also tweent trails and grandfather mountain and Jonas ridge snow tubing… mile wise everything is close but driving in mountain times. Makes everything about an hour or so but it nice to stay out of the big city.

Summary: Our family stay was a fun and relaxing time. Every morning we were able to enjoy a cup of coffee on the back porch where we saw our deer family walking through or a couple of bucks fighting it out. The house was ideally located for our adventures in the area. The kitchen was very well stocked and the beds were very comfortable. When a minor issue arose, the owner waa extremely attentive and was able to remedy the situation quickly and minimally affecting our stay. We loved our stay at the Selah house and we would definitely stay here again. Thank you.
